I might do that, but probably not, because they work better on top. (bigger targeting area)

UPDATE:

Finished linking the turrets to their respective frigates.

I will test to make sure there are no major issues, then I'll compress, upload, and get it to you guys probably tomorrow.

Then it's just finishing gameplay tweaking (shields and whatnot), then it's v1.0 time!!

Alright this map looks awesome. This is what I thought the shipped space maps would be like and I am looking forward to the release.

First i have to say that this Version (V.085) have the best Gameplay from all betas you have send.Thats a very great SpaceBattle.I rare play them but this One rocks.

1.Give suggestions on what to do to increase survival time
I dont think you have to increase the Survival Time.I died in this Version 4 Times in one Round before that min.20 Times.So I like it. :P But for this wait for Suggestions from the other Testers.

- I Destroyed the Autoturret mainframes on the main capital ship and the Turrets are disabled on this Ship (but the AutoDefence in the ControlRoom don't stop fireing on me. :P) .On the other CIS Capital Ship the Turrets are fireing and if i land on this one and want to go to the ControlRoom.It is the Ship with the unfinished Rooms.Where i can destroy the Turrets?Not by destroying every single one ? I think there is no need to disable them because if you have done your Mission you Win.With or without destroying these Turrets.

-The floating Turrets Thing from the destroyed Frigattes is now fixed.
-I Like a Pilot with a Blasterrifle.

-After the CIS has destroyed on the Acclamator the LifeSupport,Engines and Shields im only able to repair the Shields.The other Ones are unrepairable.
-You could boost the Speed of the FusionCutter a little bit (Repairtime).
-Can`t make a Looping with LAAT and sometimes its very hard to land him in the CIS Cruiser.
-Is there a Way to make the Arc 170 so,that he can ever fire Torpedos?

remember this :D apparently the frigate you said it is facing has no turrets, please put some so that the cis can put up a fight against the far superior Republic :D .

other bugs:

-destroyed all autoturret mainframes and they all worked, but 2 cis cruisers and 2 rep cruisers have no mainframes at all, just a void.......

-acclamators just explode, it does not have the "break up into half" animation. i may know why you cant, cus there are too many turrets riight. well if they cant have that anim then give em a huge explosion as a replacement.

fixed stuff:

-all autoturrets were destroyed with the frigates.

sry, i dont have anything on gameplay at the moment.

suggestions:

-custom sounds!(turrets)

@AlexSecura - to clear up some of the bugs you mentioned:

- I only did the mainframe coding for the Main CIS and Republic ships. The ones that don't have interiors are not supposed to.
- The shields are the only things that you are able to repair anyway. If you can in the shipped space maps, I don't know how they did it, because I did not change those odfs.
- The fusioncutters are at the default speed. (I might speed them up)
- Again, I didn't change the LAAT's odf, so it is the same as the shipped LAAT.


@lieutenantcoda - about your bugs:

- The capitol ships that don't have interiors are not supposed to. (does anyone know what the odf is for the locked doors?)
- I thought that the Frigates did have the animation. I'll have to look into that.

- Sorry, but I can't do custom sounds. I tried it once, and it didn't work.

You see i rare play SpaceMaps :P
The Thing with the LAAT,i sure,that i have flown him in some Maps(not ConversionPack SpaceMaps) like an ARC-170.However, it can also be possible,which I am wrong there.
Is it possible to change the ofs ? :wink:
and yes speed the fusioncutter up thats what i want to say. :wink:

It would be possible to make the LAAT more agile, but I like it as a big, lumbering transport.



UPDATE:

I haven't been working on the map lately, but there really isn't much left to be done. I'll probably finish it up today, and release 1.0 publicly after the Mappack competition is over. (May 26)

Cool to see you finished it.I think there are no changes to v0.85.

I played the last Time more Spacemaps.Your Map and Battle over Coruscant from Penguin are the best for me.

Pengiun's Map was actually part of my inspiration to make this map, along with the movies.

I have two essays and a packet to do this weekend for homework, plus a swim meet that is going to take up potentailly half of Saturday and Sunday.

Thank God Monday's totally free!
