Ok. This was made from a request by Ateas. I hope this will get more attention than my last map

This is a test map for some new sides I have been working on. This is only a beta, and the cis will be tested later.
*Some background info with my previous works*
This is my first TEST map.
map-wise, I'm getting better. Mod-wise, I'm pretty good at it by now.
Although I've only released one map to the public (which got great reviews from a large handful people, but didn't catch the attention of the mainstream), I'll have more coming, so watch out!
*Units*
Find out for yourself.
*Bugs and Issues*
- The Vibrosword has an odd bug. But since no one was willing to help me (grrr), I can't fix it yet.
- The Heavy-Weapons Guardian has a bug with the axe. His head is tilted slightly whenever you stand still. It's animation errors, and I don't mess with that stuff yet.

Maybe if I ever get my scanner to work, I can send more skinning ideas, and more heroes, and such.
Oh, and you said before that the CIS was having trouble with the longsword? I sent a pm suggesting you use the magnaguard model for all battle droids, because melee weapons seem to work well for them. (Exept Praseodymium, (who technichally isnt a battle droid but a emaciated prototype for a Ugekian super soldier.) )
@Phazon: I played it, its cool

things that should be fixed:
The rocketeer has the normal missle. It should be like a gunship particle cannon.
The rocketeer machine gun should have no charge time- its a normal machine gun.
The sniper rifle is a normal reward sniper. It should be a continuus beam that stays on until you overheat.
The basic trooper chaingun still works on an overheat basis. It should be ammo-tized. They are also supposed to be as powerful as reward pistol bullets.
@everyone: there are still a lot of things to be incorporated, like skins and heroes, so stay tuned!

Well I guess this map didn't get much attention either. Sigh...
Anyway, the next release won't come for a while. I'm planning a lot of things for the next release.
off topic?:
- Rocketeer will be worked on, but it'll take a while with all the references I need to look at
- Trust me, you don't want it having 0 charge time. I tried that once, and man, the sound gets REALLY buggy. The chaingun sound is actually a continuous sound, making it so that every time you fire, the sound plays once, and it stays for a very long time. So firing your gun multiple times will make your sound go BESERK.
- I know how to do that now. But it's more like an illusion. I can make it so that you can only hold it for a certain amount of time, but if you just clicked fire (instead of holding it), the beam would last just as long.

It
may answer some questions, and it explains why my idea is NOT a Star Wars story, and why the units ARENT supposed to be the "guardians" behind the title.
Expect it soon. It's awesome.

I made it up. Its basically a "universal fan fiction" that allows for any series ever made to make an apperance.
I am hoping that, however unlikely it will be, that this will become a major mod series.
But unless more people are willing to make a non-star-wars mod for a star wars game, I won't desperately hold on to the subject.
But I ask, if any modders are interested in taking part in it, post your intentions and experience and I will consider you.
EDIT: hold that thought. I want Phazon_elite to know my intentions and confirm his support or not, so I don't end up hijacking the thread.

But It's still in an almost embryonicly Alpha stage. It was released on my request so I could see the progress.

He's right. The actual map is a test map, but I'll make it a ton better. I've gotten good at mapping lately since I'm doing 2 custom projects along with my 3 modded shipped maps ready to go.
Off Topic: I thought the Guardian Uprising name was my idea? Wasn't I the one who suggested the rename? I know you made the whole story, but the rename was all me.

Oh yeah, I forgot. Sorry.
Also, you mentioned in your PM that you would not think it would be possible to change the names of the groups depending on the side. I did not mean you had to localize them, because this is going to be a side mod for all maps.
If this is ever turned into a mod series, than in the maps only one side will be good and only one will be bad. The part about "always good guys" during the side mod depends on the player's imagination.
Also: many of those new sounds I sent you are sucky. Do they sound better ingame? If not, I have other sounds I can send you.

That's exactley what I was thinking...(you know cause FF PM sounds) I just didn't know how they would sound in satr wars type of game.

Well, I mean in general, if they would sound good in any type of game. They sound too grainy.
As for the star wars part-this mod is not based directly on star wars.
And now I am questioning myself how legal sending those new sounds are, because they are from another game.
Maybe you could open a topic requesting sounds in the general/modding section, phazon.
