I have dloaded previous versions of the pack and they havent worked because the dload location wont go to the drive where i got BF2.I moved the files to where they should be but it wont work. Ive been able to play some of the maps but not with the new sides and heros

My real question kinda was will it work in A location like G/Game/BattleFront2/Gamedata/addon

and what do i do with the rest of my maps

It goes in /Star Wars Battlefront II/Gamedata. There's a bug in the 1.9 installer though that wants to install it to /Star Wars Battlefront II/Gamedata/Gamedata. So when/if you install 1.9 be sure that after you select your directory it doesn't have an extra /Gamedata in there.

Why just gamedata and not gamedata/addon

Because it also installs some sides outside of the addon map, since they are used in all conversion pack maps they're installed on the same place as the default sides. And maybe some other things I'm forgetting. Don't worry, it doesn't interfere with any other maps or anything.

It was built to be modular in the sense that we can create map packs and stuff later on and you don't have to include the sides all over again. So the sides and sounds actually get dumped into the /Data folders instead of the /Addon folders so they can be used later on in possible map packs.

And to save space.

Oh yeah, that too.

So all the sides and maps will be put in there correct places if i put it in G:/Games/BattleFront2/Gamedata
