Does anyone know if Mars Marshall (aka NeoMarz?) is still around, because i was wondering if i could get a few JKA models of his converted (a clone pack, and a laat gunship)?

I have no idea if he is around, his latest work was in 2004 I think, but considering he seemed to be fine with it in the past, it would be fine to convert his stuff now. Just email him asking him if it's ok, in 2 weeks if he hasn't responded them it's fine. Just make sure proper credit is given.
Although, I'm curious as to which model's you want converted, because they may already be converted.

Republic Gunship (i don't really like the stock model that much), and a Clone Pack, is what i had in mind

Deviss converted the EP3 Trooper,
EP3 Airborne Trooper,
And Vyse and Darth Duck converted and improved the Clone Commando model.
Darth DUCK and Naru are making an improved LAAT model as well, far superior to the stock.

Problem is, i don't think their gunship would work in BF1 because the number of seatw on the ship (maybe like 8 or 9) is way more then the limit of SWBF1 (5). So I think the JKA laat would be a good BF1 replacement.

Seating can
always be changed in the odf. The model would work just fine.

exactly, hardpoints have no functionality until you reference them in the odf to give them a purpose.

Ah, ok, that actually makes a lot of sense (i always thought it they had a function no matter how many seats there were in the odf
I think i'll skip converting seeing as there as there are already converted troopers.
