when i am done with zeroeditor and go to munge fro the data_MAP folder afterword when i run bf2 and select the map is says"cannot find mission.lvl" and in the addons folder in the MAP folder there are no files. Also my os is windows 7.

i have windows 7 as well and i started out with the same problem. I tried most every method when i was starting out, but i have the vistamungefix installed in my modtools and it works for me. so you might want to try that if other methods dont work.
EDIT: my bad, i didnt click on the link untill after i posted, that is the vistamungefix XD :funny2:

The map munges fine but when i run the map in the game there are no command posts to spawn.

CP spawn points aren't related to vista or win7, i have XP and sometime i don't have any cps it is something i don't know how to fix... but someone else may (even though no one tells me :shock: )

then you have a problem in your lua and/or map.
