I must say I was slightly suprised to see this announced by Microsoft a Halo Anime. Looks abit to me what u guys think?

I too was suprised, but in a good way. In retrospect, this makes way more sense than one single, big movie which is just a retelling of the game, and then there's the fact that it's in 2D. You can do things in animation that you can't do in live action, and I'll take well done 2d to mass-produced CGI any day.

Looks promising. I've never really liked Halo (but then again, I've only played Halo: CE, which might be a factor in my feelings towards it) but I am an avid anime fan. Maybe this might get me to like it.

Meh. I, personally, think it would be nice if they did it in CGI. Once Naruto started to turn boring, I lost my love of anime. Besides, Halo is just the kind of thing that seems more of a CGI thing than an anime... Hehe, I wonder why... No, really, I think that they should do CGI, considering that it actually looks more visually appealing than 2D to me now, not because it's based off a video game. Just my opinion.

While it would make sense to do the whole thing CGI, the thing that appeals to me about the 2d is that it was unexpected. If we were going to get a CGI Halo animatrix, would it really be that much different from the cutscenes? Traditional animation is swiftly becoming a rarity, and really, a well-done anime looks pretty freaking sweet.

Off topic: Oh, don't worry about losing your anime love. Naruto does that to everyone. A few episodes of Gurren Lagann and you'll be right as rain!

Halo animation video game, NO! I'm not a big fan of Animation and I would rather they do something else with it. Oh, well.

It could be interesting, I'll have to keep an eye on this.

Only Anime I ever watched was Yu Gi Oh the Abridged series on Youtube
