Hey i would like to make a video intro for and in my map how can i make this

it is possible, and there is a disucssionthread linked in the evrything you ned thread, bt nobody wrote a tutorial about it yet

We don't know how to do it without wiping out all of the game's original videos. Only one map would be able to have a custom video and whos to say which map gets it?

The v1.3 patch has a small video preview area in the map selection screen, but that doesn't have sound.

hmm, it would be possible to have one move file with everyone's videos in it. You would have to redownload it everytime someone added a video and the file would get quite large.

I'd like to point out that you have no idea how to try it, especially since Zerted doesn't seem to think its possible....

Not knowing how to do something doesn't mean it can't be done. I just don't know how to do it in a useful way. Also, he could be trying the v1.3 preview video...

The v1.3 path's documentation has a tutorial on how to a add a preview video to your map.

As far as I know, it's possible, but it adds quite alot to the filesize. Not worth it if you ask me.
