No, you have to extract the three-character code folder from the .7z file and place it in your addon folder.

Oh, sorry about not being clear, I meant just put the unzipped file into the addon.

Anyway, my thoughts:

At 1st, I was pretty much being forced across the whole map (love how aggressive the bots are) then I figured out how to block, and enjoyed playing it.

I particularly enjoyed the obi-type character for the heroes with a purple lightsabre's combos, as they seem to fit together very well while still looking good.
The wookie jedi, for me, was a bit too subtle, I still killed with him but he doesn't really swing his sabre that much, of course, online, this could be useful as they can't tell if you're attacking very clearly.
Last for the heroes, the guard-type character was interesting to learn to play, once I understood the combo, I found it really fun to use and it was cool to zig zag around.

As for the villains, I liked the guy with one sabre the most, although (force destruction???) was a bit overpowered, as it seemed to kill everyone hostile to me close by, I would suggest making it less powerful or giving it a bigger cooldown time.
I liked the female sith's combo and thought that it was cool to interlock different parts of the combo, like the obi-type character for the heroes.
the double sabre'd sith didn't really do much for me, like the wookie I got kills, but it wasn't particularly fun to play as, perhaps if I get more used to these heroes, their combos and their powers I'll like him more.

In terms of force powers and combos, I think that the pushes are a bit overpowered, like the lightning field type power (destruction?)I meantioned earlier, so should use up far more force energy/stamina to use or be less powerful, finally, force heal, increased the health of the user and allies too quickly for my liking.
some of the combos were a refreshing change, as they didn't stun the enemy as much, and were far more acrobatic, though I think they should all be toned down a bit in terms of damage, so that if spammers get lucky they don't get a kill immediately.

The fact that you can play no-force in the stock game, rancor, shows in this mod, as all of the non force moves are more interesting and varied that anything I've seen in the stock game, and I think this is a nice original piece of work that I'll play over and again, especially if an online server gets set up.
I don't mean to sound critical here, so please forgive me if have complained too much, and I'm not saying "change this or I won't play it", I'll get used to the things I've said aren't to my tastes if they aren't changed.

I appreciate sincerely you taking the time to write up the review Broken Box, and I am honoured that you think of it so highly. I have in fact spent most of my time playing jedi the past 3 years, and I wanted to make the extra effort in making unique combos that really highlight the climactic feel of a jedi fight.

I think you should take a bit more time on the jedi, however, and use the tips I'm about to reveal.

The wookiee jedi, for example, has a hidden melee set, that can be triggered by pressing/releasing the Sprint button after finishing an attack. The wookiee will turn off his lightsabre and do a clap attack with his hands on hitting sprint, and if you press Fire you'll do a ram attack into the enemy. This is inspired by how wookiees are naturally aggressive. The wookiee's lightsabre combo is specifically designed to be defensive, however.

The Sprint hidden move is also available to the final attack of the "Dark Lord" character you refer to as the single sabre sith. Also, the double sabre female sith has a Sprint hidden move, which can be interchained with the rest of her combo.

Likewise, the double bladed sabre blue anakin, has a second set of land-based strikes accessible by the block button used 3 times. All the other jedi can use the block button to access a different attack path then the standard 3 attack button pressess offer.

I do think that spamming will often yield more kills with the higher damage in place, and thats part of why I did that. You are encouraged to match each blow with an attack of your own, and you keep using variety of your combos to get the better hand. If that doesnt work, most combos allow you to use force during the attack.

I will take your review to heart and consider making improvements where advised, but I do need more feedback from others.

My apologies, the wookiee has to hit Block after an attack to access the melee attacks.

Updates....

After talking to a small break and then speaking to some friends on xfire, I have taken into consideration changes to balance. 2 of the new powers featured in this post were added to remedy this. For the time being I also have removed the combo/anims of the Double-bladed sith, and given him the same combo as the double-sabre sith twilek. They now share the same set of anims.

This is to tie in with the fact that they are "dark padawans" of the Sith master, who taught them the ways of the lightsabre style that includes air moves. This is actually very similiar to the Vaapad style Mace Windu has.

Force Tidal Wave

Force Crush

I have/am adding firing effects to several powers that did not have them, such as Force Heal/Defence.

I have changed Force Defence to an immediate super-regenerative "shield" that lasts 5 seconds. It can be used to basically prepare all your allies to live through an incredibly strong attack, if timed correctly.

Force heal is now a slower overtime heal. Force Hate now heals for a brief amount of time and the rest is left to super charged Offense buff for your force powers to work stronger.

Nice!
Maybe you could change the texture/effect for the tidal wave, it really stands out, compared to the rest of them.

This improvement makes it so that when it actually hits people, it causes the storm effect to appear on them.
