Hey, I got BF2142 for my B-day and I got the SW mod for it called First Strike and I got it installed and everything, but for some reason when I go and play the mod, there's only one map in the singleplayer section and it says that the singleplayer is not supported in the version that I have. The weird thing is that I have the latest version because the mod updated itself when I installed it. And another thing, once I finally launched the game there was only one map in the whole mod even though in the trailers that I've seen and even in the description, it says there's a lot of battlefields like Hoth, Endor, Tatooine, and lots more, and even epic space battles. But there only appears one Tatooine map.

Does anyone else have this mod and know what I'm talking about and if they can help me? That would be much appreciated!

"First Strike" doesn't have a full singleplayer aspect, it is based around multiplayer.

Well, I went online and there was nobody on. Can I host my own?

I don't have it installed at the moment but I am sure you can host your own, there just won't be any people.

there is a FSSP mod out there, but the only reason i would play it was the death star map, and even that gets boring after some time

Yes I know, it such a give away for an excellent mod! I would play it, but its meant for online and there are no servers.

I bet the space battles would be hecka fun if there were alotta people!

i used to be in a clan that partnered with the first strike modders... i remember there used to be servers, perhaps they shut down due to economic hard times or very few played it ( it was lucky to see a server with more than 5 ppl in it at a time)
