Can flyers fly this high? If so, you'll need to fix the sky so you can't see the bottom of the skydome (or just restrict flyers from getting high enough to see it).

Don't worry, they won't fly that high...except I do what I planned to do.
Right now the Venators are just there to look at them, but I want is to make a spawnable hangar with Laat/i and make the terrain much more spred (so that you can spawn and fly high in the air and still see terrain where ever you look) but that means I have to redo all terrain...

Just if you're going to have any LAATs you might want to make the cis base area's objects have an option with the line "denyflyerland". Or if it's possible, put a region over the intire cis area that makes so gunships can't land there.

Actually my plan was making the flak that heavy that coming too close to the cis cps is impossible.

Very nice work, Spiderpig. Do you have any idea where you are (percent-wise) on this map? Sorry for asking, but it looks epic.

I'm sure when he has a update to post he'll tell us. Many people don't like having others asking them how far along they are on stuff. I know I don't...

Oh...No... the first Evilejedi's Venator model... I hate it because it is not faithful. Look at the shape of the old Venator and compare the new Evilejedi's model:
And... for the dream!

No offence, but it is Spiderpig's map - if he likes it then I see no reason why he shouldn't use it just because it isn't as "realistic".

@Freestalker.fr: Well, I use it because it is the most relistic one available for BF2. If you can get the models you show converted to .msh, then feel free to send them to me and I'll look into them.
As long as you don't, please don't post like "oh no, it's unrealistic, use this one or that one."

I've noticed that there are too many people who think something is bad since it's not realistic -that tends to go for alot of things in gaming.
But Freestalker, that was kind of rude.

I agree with Darth_Spiderpig. There are so many people who post their "own ideas or improvements" for wips. By the way I think your models is the best which fits to a ground battle map, because the stock one really looks dumb and Lord Bertie's one is in ways too large for a ground map. I really like the feeling which the pictures give to me work on that's gonna be a great map!
Offtopic: I just noticed that your flamethrower effect doesn't has the right hight I can fix that if you want.

Well, since I know how much you liked this map, and Deviss was able to fix the "no-map" error, I worked a bit on it.
Update includes:
-edited (slightly, still B.I.G_Cookie's work) skins
-new lighting
-new Venator models
-new loadscreen
-one epic pic
I promised One Epic pic?
Here you go
Stay tuned folks.

Dude, those are some epic-looking pics!! I'm glad to see this map is back in action. I've always been a fan of this map and I'm looking forward to the next update.

To be honest, I wouldn't call it 'realistic', but rather 'authentic', but never mind the technicalities.
To Spiderpig....

Epic Sandwich on a Flaming Stick!
