W.I.P. Geonosis: Canyon City

Hello there. Here is my latest(one of my first) maps Geonosis: City.
(Yes, this will be entered in the Geonosis Contest)
Story:
CW: The battle of Geonosis slowly progresses. The Republic discovers a secret city hidden in a valley. They send some of their best troops to infiltrate it.
Still to do:
ReSkins(?)
Fix CPs and other bugs
Load Screen
The Beta will be public.

looks good will definately be a great addition to the contest and yes maybe reskin but ep2 troopers look cool too. Just there is no terrain texture in the second pic

Fix fog and visiblity.
Change ep3 clones to ep2.
Plz, do not use non-Geonosian buildings on Geonosis.

I am changing ep3 to ep3.
As for the buildings, I might try and reskin them to look more...Geonosian.

I'm gonna be honest here: It looks like crap.
Firstly, there is an object in the first screenshot that is very poorly placed.
Secondly, the terrain is too bright for my tastes. Use a darker Geonosis texture.
Thirdly, there's a lot of missing texture on the ground.
The map looks very empty and boring. Add some rock foliage, boulders, and 'rock bunkers' to spruce it up a bit.
Default sky. Get rid of it.
Mygeeto buildings DO NOT fit on Geonosis. In my opinion, a Geonosis city would be made up of several Geonosian hives.
Lastly, the Battle of Geonosis had a lot of vehicles. Add some AT-TEs, Spider Walkers, and Hailfire droids to give it a better Geonosis feel.
Don't take my comment as an insult. I am merely trying to help you make this map as good as you possibly can.

What will be my motivation for downloading ANOTHER Geonosis map? Geonosians attacking from above by jumping off ledges? A Feild of destructable defences?

Ugh, there is terrain everywhere, it's just that his view distance and LOD in his video options is low. It doesn't lag as much if the LOD and View Distance are at 20 or lower, just as long as it's not at like 60 or something. Obviously, the lower the ticket is for the view distance, the less you have to render from a distance, although LOD is the deciding factor for objects and their lowrez textures.

Thanks for the tips.
Texture: I agree it is bright, Ill darken the terrain.
Sky: I han't started messing with it yet, just the general layout.
The City: Hives, maybe a few TechnoUnion ships.
Vehicles: I am starting to do those. I might add starfighters like, Droid fighters and Rep Gunships.

EDIT: Does anybody know if there is a model for a Federation Core Ship?

Your map does not fit its name, It looks like a field with spires in it, not like a canyon. I suggest adding more long spires, such as the one on the left in the last pic.

I think CammandoMichael is getting bored of Geonosis maps, to be honest, I'm getting bored of the orange and brown geonosis plains. Huge buildings might be okay but change the skin, it does not fit at all.
Techno Union ships will be good and you might want to add some energy couplings and the shield generator as an energy plant for the Techno Union ships, several Core Ships on the ground and a huge hole where a Core Ship just took off to space. Just make sure those bugs won't be coming out everywhere in unlimited numbers, turning the whole Clones vs CIS into Clones vs Geonosians.

Durge, try and get your hands on the Dwarf Spider Droid, as well. That would be wicked cool to have in this map.
