Adding bfx sounds for rc unit? [solved]

Post by RacoonLR »

I don't get it, how to add the sounds from bfx for
the rc unit and his weapons. I read the tutorial but it's really confusing...
Also I don't have a Folder named after my modid in "sounds - worlds"
there are just the Default stock maps?!

Which tutorial(s)? What's confusing about it/them? If a folder doesn't exist, create it.

I already got the most stuff, but this still doesn't explain the .snd file Thing...
I have an corcw_music_config file bit it is an .au file, so I still don't get it.

Don't listen to what Windows is telling you the format is. If the file's extension is .snd (it is), you're fine. To check what the extension is, right-click the file and select Properties.

ok now I have a new Problem, I still have no sounds....

Could you find out whats wrong with my files?
I've uploaded my sounds Folder and the republic commando side from bfx so you can see what I've made wrong:
https://www.mediafire.com/?lbinjgfzsfyq8d0
http://www.mediafire.com/download/7pq9k ... 0bt/rcc.7z
(the filesize is so small because I compressed it very strong in .7z, cause I've slow Connection right now....)
thanks in advance

Edit:
Fixed it somehow =) (can't say what i have done =( sorry..)
