Peragus: Astroid Belt - BETA

I'm just going to copy+paste my post in the WIP:

Open beta time! I'm not going to be back for a while, so have fun, go crazy.

Here's a list of known bugs/balance issues, in no specific order:
- Almost every single unit sound is missing. It was either that or the ship sounds.
- CIS capital ship isn't localized.
- Pilots repair ship while in them- it makes them near invulnerable!
- You can kinda see the edges of the map, if you look the right (wrong) direction.
- StarViper hasn't been changed nearly at all- doesn't mesh with the map.
- The Republic capital ship's hanger is open, can fly inside the ship. Also, peices of it are missing.
- CP balance, nothing major.
- Some major AI issues have cropped up in the tunnels; the bots'll just stand around.
- Some tunnel pieces don't line up.
- The capital ship battle is almost completely one-sided; the CIS will pretty much always win.
Stuff I already plan on doing for the next version:
- Insert frigates for the space battle.
- Balance stuff, ect.

alright.. just played it! It was nice.. but Rep captital ship has An untextured part and it's missing the bridge and various other parts.. :wink:

Also there is an issue with "disappearing objects"

It's a great map, just as I expected.

You need to get rid of the invincibility of the sheilds on the Banking Clan ship, that way I can actually destroy it (XD). I also was on the crashing capital ship, it's great that you got that animation working.

Awesome for a Beta, can't wait to see the final.

Republic's hero is Boba because I needed someone who had a sealed suit, and I don't particularly like Jango.

The shields for the CIS aren't invincible as per se... but yes, they aren't really destroyable right now. I'm working on that.

Huh. I hadn't noticed the lack of bridge and whatnot. I'll add that to the list.

i played it and its great!!! i love the lift! Its great.
But i found lots of bugs! Some objects are flying and the republic ship has no hanger. in the
ravine is a invisibly object. And in the hoth tunnels there are many bugs.

But its great to play it!

I´m with the Other`s:
Absolute great Map with many many Bug.

I played it many Times and must say You made a very good Job in it.
I liked your Sarin Cem Map ,too.But this is much better and exactly the Kind of Map I like.

Yup, it's the beta. Where did 1.7 come fr- oh, I see. No, '.7z' is just the file type. It's not part of the name.

The invisible objects thing is from some messed up sectors/portals, I have them a bit rough in places.

As for the vast array of bugs, I'll work on them as I can.

wOW. Rikino, this is possibly my favorite map. This is great. It's like it belongs in the movies or something!
As for suggestions, maybe you could possibly incorporate 's kotor battlefront sides. One thing, might you up the reinforcement count a tad? It was high, but I loved a massive battle in this map! MMMMM, high unit count...
so anyways, it's great! Oh yeah, I was also hoping for some anti infantry/ anti aircraft turrets. Even the basic laser turrets would be fine :wink:
