A better understanding of a REQ and how to use one?

Post by ModifiedBlox »

Is there anything out there that explains what a REQ file in Battlefront II is and how to use one? Thanks.

Read the tutorials in the FAQ thread.

from req files are lvl files generated. How to use you need to read the tuts and look at existing files

There's a lot of neat stuff that you can do with REQ files and, more importantly, custom ingame.lvl files. While custom lvl files are mostly only really useful for large side mods, they can be useful for normal mod maps, too. If you want, I can detail a list of all of the REQN headers (that I know about) and list the file types associated with each one.
