My Old High School "Band"

I think I made a topic about this once before a long time ago, but it seems to have been lost with time, as I cannot find it. In High School, a couple friends and I made a sort of band that we called the Magical Space Ship to the Future. Basically my two friends played guitar and our school had this cool art/music studio that had really decent recording equipment and other instruments we could use. I sort of knew how to play the drums and I was good at piano/keyboards so I joined them in their music making. Basically, in the 3 to 4 months that we messed around in the studio we got like 20 or something songs made, some of which I kept and uploaded to filefront.

I've put some of the songs in my maps. If you haven't heard them, it's sort of 60's influenced indie/folk/psychedelic rock. If you want to check them out, be my guest:

If you do check em out, tell me what you think of them. I'm rather fond of them considering how novice we were.

Can't check them out, but I think I know which ones were in Boras, loved every single song in Boras. When I'm home, it's goin on mah iPod. And don't comment on that. If I like music, it's on my iPod.

Hail, Hail, Argentina was on Boras, Going Downtown was on Cage, and You Will Receive Some Prestigious Award was on Pepperland. I've added all the songs we made that I still have to one download.

I downloaded them all, and truthfully, I was expecting some lame music thrown together, but this was actually very good! I enjoy all of the songs a lot, but mostly "You Will Receive Some Prestigious Award".
Very good job, Dann :D

You'll Receive Some Prestigious Award was awesome :D , it sounds oddly familiar, though I don't believe it was from playing one of your maps.

I also really liked the tune in "The Water Tower Jame"

I only listened to one of the songs from the first link, but I thought it was nice, so whenever I have some spare time I'll definitely make sure to listen to some more.

Thanks for the compliments on it! I didn't get as much response about it the first time I posted this like a year and a half ago.

LOL, carfanaticphil's new avatar makes me want to play your maps again, which is against my better judgment. No offense of course, they are very creative, it's just not my type of map.
And back On-Topic: Yeah, I noticed several songs that really didn't sound like the Beatles when I used to play your maps. Of course, I just figured they were another group of psychadelic crazies, and I take it I was right. :P jk of course.

Yeah, I don't think I listened to them last time around. Glad I did this time though.

As I said in the first post, I played various percussion, but primarily keyboard and piano. And all of the music i used I took from my own library of music (which is non-pirated by the way).

He's already posted as much as he can be allowed to. Posting copyrighted music by other authors for you to download would be illegal, yarrr.
