this guy keeps coming to my clans servers with a hack name (im not gonna say the name cus hes on this website) and it takes up 6 lines (1 line for every letter, + joined) this then causes the server to crash.

How does he do this and how would i stop him?

As far as I've learned from people who have experience with this problem, it's not possible to stop it.

Its a PC server.


And hes not "realy" hacking, he just causing the server to crash, and hes doing it for quasi-political reasons (game related)

Why not set your server up with a password that only your clan knows?

Its not neccessarily that he is a representative of gametoast (idk if he is in the clan) And its not on gametoast its SWBF2. And i dont wanna piss him of even more than I/we already have


And we try a pw. But nobody has x fire, and only 2/3 join the website and only 1/3 actualy read and post on the website so that never realy works....

Clan or not if this person is an active Gametoast member we expect them to be a courteous player as well. Nobody who purposely crashes a SWBF1/2 server will have any access whatsoever to our site.

Let this be a direct warning to whoever is doing this. If you want to keep your access here you need to stop this nonsense. Now.

Cus now hes not doing it as *****, he now just does it as "=FGR= Is Gay" (<taking up 3 lines), it still crashes our servers, but not anyone elses???

I doubt it. If he is a member of GT, and he saw that, I think he would have said something about GT itself if he was going to "retaliate" or some crap like that.

I really doubt he is a member of GT, we are for the most part very respectful people online, and there are only a couple people I know who are not, and even they wouldn't do something like this. Well, I take that back, there is one person I know who is disrespectful online, and has the ability to do something like this, but I'm not pointing any fingers.

Bottom line, you need your own private server for your clan. Spread the word about it personally if you have to.

It's fairly simple to set up, you can run it in the background AND play at the same time (or just run it in the background, meaning the host doesn't even have to be there), and you can ban people by IP address so they are not allowed in the server. It also logs everything so you can go back and see who did what.

Also (though you can do this without a PC Dedicated server), you can set up an admin password so higher-ups can manage the server even if the host is away.

Knowing the member who you speak of, I highly doubt it's him as even though he does know how, he was much more honor than going around and insulting people in such a blatant manner.
