Looks pretty good! His arms look like they sink in near his shoulder... other than that it looks fantastic! Any chance you've textured it yet?

yeah, his arms have been fixed since the post. I had to bring in the bones to get everything lined up. Once noMatt sends me the desk thingy he textured (It was posted somewhere up there) I'll send it to him to be textured.

WHOA!?!? very impressive! By the way, 6000 polys should be more than enough for chief jimmy.

The scorpion....

Here is a model found while browsing through gameplay videos of halo. (how did it pop-up? I don't know.)

Obviously being very high poly, I remodeled most of it down to a number that would keep me sane. I can't texture worth a flip, but luckily it came with most of it. some parts were unfinished by the creator (Riko Best), who graciously let me use his model, so I forced myself to do a bit. It looks alright to me and I am very pleased. so without further ado, the scorpion:

I'm really liking that model! Don't forget to set up animated treads though (XSI FAQ)...

Wow looks great! How long did it take you to learn to model?

If you are converting or modifying someone else's work please at least mention the author's name and give a link to the source when possible.

His name is Riko Best.

EDIT
This model is another one of Riko's but sadly he had modeled it with very high poly. There were a few spots where I found about 1000 triangles and had to delete most of that area and start from scratch, but Riko did most of the hard work, which I am very grateful. So the cockpit and wings are untouched by me, but I redid everythingelse.
Enjoy!

Edit: Almost forgot, the poly count is 7860.

Its a cool model but i recommend to retopologize it since the topologie seems to be to messy to do a clean unwrap.

WOW thats great. And you seem to have mastered topology. never saw szcg a clean model from you very cool. Thats awesome :)

PS: I am sorry for the delay but my arm just broke today so i dont think i can continue my work on chief too soon. I will try to. But i would be very glad if you could send me that model now because thats waaay easier to unwrap and texture. So i think i ask my big brother to uv unwrap and do the texture :D

Congrats to that beatiful model

After quite awhile, I have completed my FP arms and am very pleased with them. New Fp animations are finished as well for the pistol and things are going smoothly.
Both the reticule and assault rifle are incomplete.
