Dude, top notch work! I can't wait for this map... but even more fun will be assets if you release them

Caleb, just so you know, if you keep asking for assets you're not exactly going to be the most liked person on this forum. From what I've read you've asked for assets twice already and I'm already getting annoyed with you.

Lookin' good Rends! Will you be changing the terrain colour? I'm 99.9% certain that the ground was sand in Mos Eisley, and the pictures you've shown just don't feel right with the plain grey colour. I feel that with orange-ish sand and maybe a blue-er sky that widescreen shot would look just like the movies ;).

Rekubot,
yes i´m also not happy with ground texture and lightning. this will be definitly changed in the future.
All screenies i posted are work in progress. Nothing is final yet.

Hmm, I could try doing a texture later today.
It probably wouldn't be amazing, but I could probably do it. It doesn't seem like that hard of a model to skin...
If I had the texturemap and a reference pictures I could try it out.
You might be better off giving it to someone else too. I'm sure mine won't be that great.

Great work on the map so far. I think you need to make the terrain more like the buildings.

Very Clever! :| Just mess around with Gimp. That's what I do and I still don't have the faintest idea what I'm doing!

The true masterpiece of this Mos Eisley map is that he made all new items look like they'd belong there. It's easy to create a custom world, but it's incredible difficult to re-create a planet perfectly.

As you don't know how many units you should include, I'd say 1 bot in the setting is 5 bots on the battlefield. (or 6, who knows) That's because nobody wants to play a match against a single bot on a map as big as this, but on the other hand, some people might like to have a massive 32*5 bot-battle.

:D Wow. RENDS YOU ROCK! :D
:) I love it. It's amazing looking. This would be a perfect location for a movie. *hint hint* :)
Gotta love Mos Eisley... and speeders... and everything to do with this map. :)
I played the original Mos Eisley soooo much when I got BF2, so this should be 10x longer of a playing streak :D
