Because of some rather disastrous errors that have resulted in it freezing randomly on the load for no apparant reason, and also because I'm going to be travelling, this map has been put on hold for a little bit. I do not intend to quit of course, not after all the work i've put into it so far, but I may have to make some drastic changes in order to get it working again.

These drastic changes you may have to make will hardly degrade from the map I think, it's so incredible already.

Ok, i'm sorta going back to work on it now. For the next couple weeks i'm going to have just the default terrain to work in, since the real WLD file is having overload issues. I'm gonna be working on making more progress with the sides. When they've gotten to the point where they are basically finished, I'll be half-remaking the entire WLD file. I will probably have to have it in the original default landscape size (128 by 128 i think...i cant remember) that version 1 was. Though I will be putting in as many of the new areas that will fit and that wont cause overload. Though trying to predict how much is too much is extremely frustrating since there is no real stable number limit because its the overall script that's overloading, not the objects themselves, but rather....everything put together.

Ok new things for sides:
1. Reduced weapon damage for all weapons, so that not every hit is a one-hit kill, leaving a little bit of challenge.
2. Removed some Lock-on targeting weapons, and changed some to less accurate "heat-seaking," so it takes actual aim to get a kill than just pressing the lock-on button and clicking.
3. Improving skins.
4. New cool looking pistol lasers.
5. Changed sniper rifle laser again to make it shoot long rings.
6. Added shotgun-pistol for the sniper class, shoots flower lasers that leave spinning flowers on impact
7. New grenade glow effects with spinning flowers/hypnowheels
8. New grenade explosion effects. Sort of like the fireworks in the last version, but thicker, slower and more colorful/psychedelic
9. Bubble launcher shoots varying sizes of bubble
10. The Tripper/Chuckle's smilies of doom now have a lower setting that is not so overpowered, and charge-up for full power.
11. Missiles, bubbles and smilies no longer follow you forever, and the turn rate is smaller, so they are dodgeable.

No offence, but is it possible to lose now? I mean, blowing the crap out of colorful armies is fun and all, but I like a challenge. Will the sides be more evened out? Please don't hurt me...

you'll probably have better luck making a topic for that problem, or pming one of the admins.

the only reason i didnt pm was because i couldnt get thriough the pming menues at all

It's probably the internet settings the computers in your local library have.

The sides for gcw conquest have basically been finished. Once I get cw con + assault done, I'll start fixing/redoing the landscape for the 4th time.
