I can't really call this my second map, cuz I have like 10 maps in my modtools that only need a few more tweaks, but I just decided I'd make a WIP for this one. Don't really know why it's this one. Whatever.

Naboo: Coast

This map started when I was playing Dev's edit of Geonosis, and I thought it was pretty fun going around and blasting the droids with gunships. So I decided to make a big openy style map with a lot of gunships.

This map has three sections: ocean + beach and islands, plains + river, and mountains. The CIS starts on a medium sized island and advances through shallow water to the beach. At the beach the Republic is met with overwhelming droids and almost always loses their cp within a minute. There are a few artillary guns spread out through the battlefield that are sometimes the Republic's last hope. After the CIS takes the beach, it's on to the plains. There are many Republic fortifications in the plains, including an AT-TE. The CIS is usually pushed back the the beach before it reaches the mountains area, but there are a few cases the they get in.

go check my Felucia thread, they're not too much different.

I don't know what to think about this wip; it looks rather flat, but then it also does look like how I'd imagine Naboo's coastline to look like. Most flat, wide-open maps do not do so well, but some do. The third pic from the bottom, especially, looks like it may be nice.

I like the idea of a Naboo coast map. I think the third screen from the bottom looks the best.
Will there be lakes or swamps in the mountains?

About the weapons:
The DC-15S and the stock pistol are the same, Pandemic just designed it like their DC-15A.
Why did you give the ARCs the RC pistol? Only RCs were allowed to use them...
I suggest you replace both with the DC-17 pistol from TCW.

The map appears to have a great foundation, although it seems a little barren in some places. These areas could probably be spruced up with the addition of foliage and some boulders (there are some great boulders in the Endor assets - they can be rotated and sunken into the ground to varying degrees to get a huge variety of shapes).

I'm gonna have to go with what Eggman said, you should add in some more foliage and cover cuz it seems quite barren in some places. Other than that, it looks great. I like the new sides.
