Oh, now I get it. I was talking about Darth Bane, and mswf suggested using Cad Bane in addition to Darth Bane.

I had a good idea but never got round to it.

The map could be a basic naboo city then a federation core ship over head (when I say coreship I mean the one with hangars from the assets thread).

Put a CIS base in the Coreship, along with tf landers and vultures.

and naboo fighters in the city and the naboo pilots can fly into the coreship hangar and try to capture the base.

I still have the ideas for mod I want to only the people who want help to know everything. but, heres my idea:
1.lots of new maps,skins,weapons,sides and,eras
2. redo space maps

EDIT: here's more info new eras:kotor,naboo blockade/CIS crisus[is that spelt right?]and,second GCW [theres more to]
maps:kashyyk islands and more SWBF maps and TCW maps and already thinking about season 2
skins:more "real' looking commander ponds and captain green leader
sides:mandos,lurmens.
[note: I have got ideas about this]

1. this is no request thread (you can just post ideas here)
2. posting requests multiple times (in two days) wont make anybody grant them faster or at all
3.saying you want to make an "awesome mod with cool stuff" isnt enough, people want to know exactly what the mod is about
4. take a look look how many big mods made by teams have been released, how many became more than an idea and how many died before getting finished

I've just got BF2 on Steam, so now I can mod the game too.

Are there any recent BF1 players here who would know of my BF1 mod? The Main Play Mod? I want to port it into BF2, with new modes. If possible I'd love to make it CP-compatible but if not I'd have to convert the BF1 maps with it.

Nope, I do not intend on copying the CP at all. That would be impossible to do, and in any case I want to do something (to a lesser extent) that I did with the original Main Play Mod in BF1. But this is what I have planned:

- Two new eras: MPM CW and MPM GCW, which don't interfere with things like the CP.

- New Modes - "Objective", "Classic Campaign" (based on BF1's campaign with BF2 Campaign Gameplay), "BF1 Main Play", which would play out EXACTLY the same as the Main Play Mod in BF1.

Ideas? Suggestions?

Wow, I guess great minds think alike, because I thought of the same thing, only with a Star Destroyer above Naboo. :funny2: :funny2: :funny2:

I am about to start a Rhen Var: Mos Eisley map
which will use the stock mos eisley and add hoth props and textures [what do you think? :wink: ]

I personally don't think that'd turn out too good. My advice is just to start over and use reskinned tatooine buildings in that. (you can then try to rebuild the stock map)
It comes over way more original. (and plays better)

Reskin the buidings so they look more snowy or icy, and definitely do a new layout.

How has made the Dogfighting Death Star map??

If it isn't the final map you could make a missiob there for example you have to destroy the shield generator and than go to the ships and destroy the death star.
Maybee there could came a video at the end of the campain

Hey Anakin, I begun my map before I saw your layouts, but I'd like to know if it seems satisfactory to you. (Check out WIP forum.) I'll admit I don't appreciate your layout as much as mine, but in actually playing on the map I think I could be a fair judge of that.

Regardless, I would be glad for your comment if you would but drop by.

as I said before in another thread/topic we should do a whole runescape theme unfortunatly the post was unavle to be added on the account of I took to long typing it out, and I got sighned out.


Anyway once I get more knowledge on skinning i will be more than happy to create it.

We could make units wearing full rune or full dragon and equping a rune scim and have mace windu holding a 2H since he has two hands on his saber. ;)

But oviously A jedi would have to be scripted.

We could also incorporate the magic battle of hoth mod into it as well and use some of there effects we could map it out so the map is like the wilderness in runescape have lava pits and all of that stuff.

The only thing about creating the units is that it will not look spectacular but neither doees runescape this would be a great mod to share with the swbf2 community, well and runescape I guess to :P

I need a team of good mappers and skinners to help me create this mod if you are interested.
