Message Severity: 5
C:\Battlefront2\main\RedEngineFL\Graphics\PC\pcRedRenderer.cpp(1163)
Cannot create Direct3D device! Error: 0x8876086a

Just got this error, I have no clue what happened, haven't done anything to Battlefront all day. Get this right after starting battlefront.

You mean Battlefront 2? Does this error cause a crash? With just the debug version or the normal game as well? When was the last time you ran SWBF2 without this error occuring? Did your computer experience any changes since that time and now? Perhaps any changes related to your video card software-wise?

Yes Star Wars Battlefront II, this causes a crash in both versions, normal and debug. I ran BF2 yesterday and it worked fine, I downloaded a video-card thing for TF2 and I uninstalled it and it still doesn't fix the bug with Battlefront.

"Video-card thing" is a little vague. Could you be a bit more specific? Thank you.

Gonna be as specific as I can, I'm not exactly the most computer-savvy person. http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/w ... ng=English

Downloaded the second one and Battlefront started crashing. TF2 is also crashing now. TF2 said I needed it so I downloaded it.

I had this issue once. A simple reboot fixed the problem. Dunno if that helps or not.

Yes, Marth helped me fix the problem, I restored my driver to it's previous state and rebooted! Thanks for all the time and help everyone! Time to resume modding! :D
