I am currently in the pre-development stages of creating a map but the consept im coming up with isn't ment as a conquest skirmish, its more of a mission, like the ones seen in the campeign. i was wondering, is there a tutorial on how to script commands in? the major ones ill need are having cp's only spawn 1 large wave at a time with X number of minutes in between waves, go there before time run out, go there, defend position for X number of minutes, destroying a shield wall, ambushes, and having a large wave of reinforcements come in apon acomplishing an objective. another possible idea is max # of lives but i've never heard of that being done in battlefront so idk.
another crutial point in making a campeign is creating an opening movie, i was just thinking a nerated slideshow but im not sure how to do that. and finnally i want to know how to add custom sounds to the game so that instead of hand signals and wierd flares, commanders use a voice command as their order for a buff. if anyone knows how to do any of the above would be nice to know

There really aren't any good tutorials on Campaigns because all campaigns are different. Think back to swbf2's campaigns and look at the scripts sections for the similar campaign objectives you want to copy. All campaigns are is a sequence of normal objectives.
The max amount of lives is done through the reinforcement count.
We've never really got custom movies working ingame. The v1.3 does support playing a (sound-less?) movie from the map which is selected in the map selection screen. And did you mean to type an N-rated movie?

Think he meant "narrated."

Is the mission scripting tut in the FAQ the only campaign tut here on GT?

ya, i ment a nerrated movie like the ones you have at the beggining of missions in battlefront 3. what do you mean by scilent movie? is like the movies in the campeign that play before you can start playing? also i've started making my map and i was wondering about how to make a support frigate with gun follow a path. since my map revolves arround the rescue of a downed carrier's crew this is kind of essential. the guns are not nessesery but it would be nice if the ship had some of its own firepower.

If you mean make the ship move on a predetermined course without any pilot....then no. You could but anyone standing on it would have no traction. It'd be like slippery ice.
And custom movies like the ones that play before a campaign starts are at the moment impossible; we don't have enough research done to develope these.
And what are you talking about, Battlefront 3?

I think he means Renegade Squadron.

well actually, i ment to use an aklamator and put some guns on it for air cover but not have anyone spawn on it until it crashes. i was just wondering how to make the aklamator follow a flight path and whether the guns would stay on the ship or just float in mid air.

you can animate both guns and acclamator i think, but you cant put any spawn into the hangars (if it has hangars) because regions are not animateable

But he only wants people to spawn after it's crashed, which is perfectly OK. No region-moving required.
