*wootØ Saturn is back!

At least for once ^^
Good to see you! I haven't talked to you in a year or something O.o
what do you mean with the last line? "and release a re-compile of the software."

It means that they would have to release the program again only with the ability to use this plugin. Basically re-download the program for the plugin to work.

no thats not true since the valve source addon is a separate 3rd party plugin made by valve. the addon just has to be coded a certain way so that mod tools reads it, people cant make thier own because there isnt any SDK released for mod tools like thier is for the full version. (if you have the advanced or essentials versions it comes with an SDK in which you can make all sorts of addons for the program including import/export plugins)

You should sticky this page. I (as im sure many others have been) have been looking for an exporter for SWBF2 since the modtools came out.
-Would it work for vehicles

-It does work for SWBF2 doesnt it? (just checking)

What i was trying to say was would 3DOC be able to export to MSH so i could get stuff ingame. But i d/led it last night and it doesnt

.
Hopefully it will soon though.
Also i havent been on this site for quite a while (or on SWBF2)
Another thing is when i opened a vehicle id made in XSI and its come out strangely: The vehicle is complete and everything but there is a short, fat bversion of the teardrop shape id used for the body connected to the bottom?!

MasterYoda, you're seriously confusing..
I'm not even sure if you know what we're talking about. 3DOC can IMPORT .msh files..

not export. It's also clearly stated many times before.
You can import the 'converted' result into Softimage XSI and from THERE you can export into .msh files. You've always been able to do that.. even with the old SWBF1 Exporter.
