How about a new question.
What is a shadowvolume, and what is its purpose?
I've heard of them before, but I don't know what they are.

its the model that the game uses to cast shadows.

Like how theres a seperate model for collision. Why don't they just use 1 model? becouse the model you see is often high poly and having the parts that don't need all those details and polys is a waste of memory and creates frame lag.

Aw crud, do models need this to cast a shadow?
What if I did that "Build Accurate Collision" thing in ZE?

Wew, I was worried I'd have to get all my models re-exported.
Thank you Penguin. :)
