The only thing about creating the units is that it will not look spectacular but neither doees runescape this would be a great mod to share with the swbf2 community, well and runescape I guess to
I need a team of good mappers and skinners to help me create this mod if you are interested.

You can't use the hoth mod's stuff unless you ask the creator (and they agree) or they've released assets.

kk then we dont need to use the hoth mods its not like its a key role in the mod iv already tated working a the rune warrior it actually looks good but, my only refrance is looking at the skin change I made because for some reason my skins havent been working

For the rune and dragon you'd probrably need new models. But I would help with the maps. You see I already started on a RS map but never finished it. It is a remake of Lumbridge.

This is a mod/map IDEA thread. Not a get your modding group together on a map that hasn't started. You guys should probably stick to the rules. But I'll PM more about your idea.

Actually, this is the perfect place to look for a modding group, and there are no rules that say anything of the sort.

As a matter of fact, this thread was a result of the consistant mod team threads that kept popping up. The staff wanted a single thread for potential teams to be able to post ideas and organize. The whole point of this thread is to put together teams.

Okay, my bad then. Since we can discuss forming groups then I will tell you my thoughts on a runescape map.
1. Pratically the whole map will be new models except for mabey trees. (AKA - ALOT of work)
2. I don't know how experienced you are with modding but if you lead then you will do most of the work and that means knowing how to do a bunch of stuff, escpecially modeling.
3. I would split up the maps into like the diffrent palaces (Varrok, Lumby, Dessert, etc.)
I will start working on modeling if you seriously consider doing this and make a mod team. PM me

There have been a few WWII map attempts but I'm going to try to make one. The major thing i need is some models/skins for wwii troops, if someone could help with that it would be great.

Anonymous, there is still a ww2 project going on (not at this site), we have started a Stalingrad and have many weapon models for (mostly) the Germans and Russians.
PM me if you are interested in joining (although we won't quite need any help from anyone besides modelers/skinners at the moment more specifically prop modelers).

Dunno if anyone brought this up, but I've been a Zombie-killin' fan for a long time and well....
That'd be cool if someone brought the concept of the Rage virus to Star Wars, see how well either the Republic or the Empire tries and contain it.
I know in the movies they are technically called 'infected', but in a movie sense, they are still 'zombified', which makes them zombies, more or less.
So my thoughts would be....maybe a mappack where on multiple planets they are trying to contain the population that's infected.
The above was hidden to avoid spoilers for those who had not seen 28 Weeks Later.
But this idea would be cool to see. One side consists of a couple of survivors, but mostly military personnel, whereas the other side consists of infected. The infected were just normal people. In the movies there were no 'special' infected like you see in the games Left 4 Dead and Left 4 Dead 2, it was purely just average human-height zombies that are, to their benefit, really fast. So this map won't have mutated zombies, however, there could be like.... I dunno....but I'd like that side to consist of various normal-ish Zombies. No range. Only melee attacks.
Survivors get all sorts of weapons and considering I want this to be the Star Wars universe....various blasters. Would be kinda cool to be honest. Maybe even a custom gamemode could be nice! There's something to think about.
I'd call it '28 Galaxies Later', but that sounds a little too long to add it in the game. But project wise, I'd call it 28 Galaxies Later.

I wouldn't exactly call this a MOD, but I have an idea for a cool program:
You know when you have all these cool maps, and want another, but you have too many missions?
Well, there could be this program that can save particular groups of maps, and puts it in its cache, making
room for more mods. And when someone else is playing a map you like, all you need to do is switch it around
to a different map set and then you can play. Much easier than doing it manually.
I really think it's possible, but I don't know one cent about making programs.

I can nearly guarantee you something 80-90% exactly the same has been made before, and a not so quick look over all the many clones in all the Glamour Skins topics will find you what you showed in that picture.

I'm sure if someone heavily modified the AT-AT/Tie Fighter pilot model, you can achieve that easily. And I agree, that'd look awesome.
I personally thought these cool-looking troops would go well with my personal custom pathfinding legion.

Well I suppose that's the first thing suggested here that's actually been made, and I suppose anything to do with a skin and a clone will have been done before.
