A weird texture...

How to create models in XSI and other 3D applications and make them work in Battlefront 1 & 2. Post models, tips for application usage and share anything XSI, 3DMax, SketchUp, etc.

A weird texture...

Hello there. I have redone my T-34 tank. I used the original one, removed a lot of parts and redid them etc. Then i created a new texture for it and applied it to the model using phong > image > new. note: i did this to both the objects that was textured before, and not, at the same time.

I enden up with the rather wierd result as you can see. Some parts of the tank is the way it should be, but most of the tank is messed up. note: all the new objects exept one, is the way it should be. Every object i made before, exept the turret which i edited a lot, is messed up

Thanks for any help. :)

Have you confirmed that it has issues ingame? Sometimes the MSHViewer doesn't accurately represent textures.

Just gonna say that this has been addressed before i believe, its a rather simple fix just export the model (in xsi) into .obj and reimport it. Then export to .msh and see what happens. The white texture is most likely overlapping materials or something, have a look at those in xsi too.
