i know, i was gonna link to it but i was p-retty lazy. I don't hate PS3, just im not gonna get one. the 360 will satisfy all my pleasure-based needs for a LONG time. ive got a strong collection and growing, so i dont need anything else. if you get a ps3 go ahead, just know that sony is asian people, and they can never be trusted.



lol jk. sony just doesnt have any exclusives that really interest me. I mean u can name some random FPS with good graphics like Resistance or whatever, but theirs games just like that on 360, for 200 dollars less, and maybe a little worse graphics.I really couldn't care either way, but if someone says ps3 is better overall, their wrong; and same for 360. They really aren't that different, from a fun-having standpoint. And Im too scared to get the wii, its too out there. I missed out on online multi console-wise last gen with the GC, so im just catching up on what i missed last time now. maybe the next time new consoles come out in 5 years ill get something new and exciting and different.

Wii sounds cool, looks cool, and is better than ps3. However, they need to get their [word not allowed] in gear and get some more 3rd party support. Come out with games that aren't aimed at 4-9 year old audience. And cut back on the Mario a lil bit. I'm itchin to try Wii Sports though.

I'm not impressed with any of the new systems. When they release some real games for them, then I'll jump on the bandwagon. Stuff like Halo 3 or Gran Turismo 5. I'm not really impressed with anything yet.

Yeah, I gotta admit the Wii nunchuck controller is cool, but the games still have to not suck. --Plus I can see some potential Wii trouble porting a game to multiple platforms. I can see EA really doing a quick, crappy port of Need For Speed #20 and the controls being terrible. Why? Because people would still buy it because you can use the controller, so why should they spend months tuning it to be perfect?

Oh, and the Wii motion sensor controller is not new.

Eventually I will get the PS3.......I'm a fan.......

im gonna sell my xbox360 if the new raiblow six las vegas is lame and get a Wii, i want to punch people and throw my woi joystick around the room!

Y'know how past Nintendo systems haven't had many M rated games? The Wii is not gonna do that. And have you seen the list of 3rd-party-games? Theres quite a bit. The reason Nintendo doesn't have as many 3rd party games, is 'cuz they make their own games.

Heh, PS3 fans are definitely dying to get a PS3...
At a local Future Shop, someone paid $1500 to another person for a place in line.
And on EBay, someone paid $8000 to get a PS3

Why do I say this? When do you ever play a video game to work out?? If you want to do something fun and move about, go outside! I don't understand why the Wii is so hyped up about having motion-sensitive controllers and such. In case anyone has noticed the PS3 has moton sensitive controllers too, but you have the option to turn them off and have a normal game. The Wii sounds nice for those who want to be different, but what's the need to be different? The gamecube fell flat on it's face when it released. There were almost no good games for it, the disk was proprietary, and it wasn't as powerful as the PS2 was or the Xbox.

And Teancum put it the best by saying none of new consoles impress me. Motion-sensitive controllers, whoop. Multiple processors, whoop.

The Wii will be one of those things you play once and put down. Name me one person that is so energetic about playing they want to get up and swing you arms about like a chimp. You kind-of look like a dork when you do that. And every time I sit down to play a game, I'm playing it because I don't want to move or do anything. Maybe the Wii thought that getting kids to get up and play was a good idea, but they were better off getting them to play outside.

So, I saved the Wii fans the pain of not posting this in their fourm, but I guess I can post this in a fourm about the PS3. The only thing the Wii is good for is the name of the system is the same thing as what people will yell when they throw this system out the window: Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!

Ya, it's crazy. I heard there were so many people in front of walmart. The people were crowded in the parking lot, and they had to get the cops in to clear em out! Crazy

I do! I'm actually quite looking forward to trying something new. GameSpot has given two Wii games quite a low score (Red Steel got a 5.5!), but I've been hyped about Nintendo's new console for so long that it's hard to just put the idea into the back of my head. The PS3 will be powerful, no doubt about that, but in all honesty my top priority is the Wii (for SSBB and LOZ: TP if nothing else), and then the Xbox 360 (Halo 3 and Halo Wars will be top of my list for that one).

Anyway, it's been proven that you don't actually have to be energetic to play the Wii. You can sit down, and the motion controller will pick up anything from wide swipes with your arm to little movements with your hands. The only real thing I'm worried about on the Wii is the graphics, but LOZ: TP looked good enough in my book.

As for the people going crazy, I can't say it was unexpected. Some of these Americans... j/k.

Next time, they should learn to pre-order.

Dude not much energy has to be put into playing the Wii. It's made to be sensitive to the slightest movement. So you not waving your arms around like a chimp. Plus it's one step close to being part of the game instead of just controling an avatar.

At least it is more advanced than the Gamecube's graphics. I would hope no gamer whines over graphics when comparing the PS3, 360, and Wii. All consoles' graphics are updated to a point where the price for 256mb graphics will drop a lot for computers and video game industry.

Well, Nintendo has never really been tops at graphics, but are more for gameplay, so I'm not too worried about graphics. They'll be good enough.
Nintendo's for gameplay, interactivity, and overall fun. I'm not saying any other system aren't fun or anything, but so far, I've found Nintendo's consoles/games to be the most fun. Take the Mii for instance. You can basically customize how your Mii looks, and then even play with it! That sounds cool. And it's definitely not just for hardcore gamers. The Wii can be played by all ages. (Though, I don't think many 70-yr olds would play it ). Theres the internet, Mii, pictures, and even past games from NES, SNES, and N64 (And whatever else there is).
