Ok, the terrain is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too bright. The town itself is very simple and so is the terrain. Its easy to make a good town map just by placing the buildings in good locations. The shipped Mos Eisely or Naboo is a good example.

The terrain is going to change. I've been more focused on getting the sides working.

I like it. Just the terrain isn't so good. But yes, you will change it.

Yes, I'd darken the terrain. I'd also recommend using the "blend" option when you're using the elevation tools. It smooths out those pointy hills and makes them more organic and natural looking. If you're really thorough, you can completely do away with those pointy edges. One thing I always like to do is use the "raise" option whenever I'm increasing the elevation and apply it with the bell or circle brush. That way the hills are created in a smooth and even fashion, and it raises somewhat gradually so you can be precise about how high you'd like it and you won't have to worry about the elevation suddenly shooting up. Raising is excellent for the flatter parts of your map because it makes the elevation slightly uneven and it looks a lot better. Just don't set the numbers very high whenever you're only trying to make the ground uneven.

like everyone else has said, that sand is too bright! Tatooine wasn't that light, but otherwise this looks good.

Been a while since the last update.
Corrected issues:
The texture issue(brightness) is fixed
The pointy hills are blended
Object problems have been fixed
Plans:
I might change the CIS side, not very much though.
A Clone Commando unit is very likely(As a Hero?)
A possible Campaign mode, unlikely though.

EDIT: Anyone know how to change the maximum height that characters, vechicles can go?

I think the clone commando has a classParent file you left out. Check it's odf. Not sure about the other one, aside from that it's a LUA error.
