-5th Space Corps - all have Jet Packs, "Jet Trooper" has more health

Uh... The Fith is already been established as a legion. They are the guys you can find defending a ship.

Maybe you should cripple the Deployable CP some...
Hero weildable only.
Limited amount of time.
Easily destroyed.
Irrepairable.
Few and resticted spawn paths.
Requires several ammo cans to equal one CP.

But I do like the idea, aren't you planning on releasing some assets? Either way looks good keep it up! :thumbs:

-doesn't have a spawn path
-can only be 4/map
-will try to limit lifespan (its essentially a flyer so that may not be possible)
-takes 3 thermal dets to destroy.
-ammo thing - nice idea but can't really do it - instead you can only get ammo for it from recharge droids

-Atm its the only DS asset I plan to release (a lot of the stuff isn't mine so if those people want to release it that's their call), along with some scripts and a tut on adding 'Last Days' (DS CW) Era to maps.

Sky, this looks excellent. I've been watching it over a ModDB, and the screenies blew my mind. All of the maps look quality, and I imagine they play even better. Keep up the great work. (And release this at FF, please)

Sidess Updates


Well basically all the units are done....will post pics in next few days.

(Probably) Final Elite/HS Lineup

CIS Elites
-Shadow Droid - Stealthed unit with poison nade launcher
-Droideka - durh.
-Nemoidian Gunner - mid/long range support.
-Phage Droid - sniper with poison inflicting gun + neuropoison.
-Droid Commando - like one from CW pretty much. Has stun weapon, disguise kit, rifle.

CIS HS
-Geonosian - weak but has deadly sonic blaster + hi explosives.
-Magnaguard (Elite) - electrostaff + ton of health.
-Magnaguard - weaker but has elite pistol too.
-Artillerey droid - uses + deploys mortars.
-Tyrant droid (Used by 2) - bigger sbd with wrist launcher + flamethrower.
-Centurion - elite catacran soldier. Heavily armed and armoured + has health regen, but slow + can't roll.

Rep HS
-Clone Medic - heals people, has elite pistol and haywire nades.
-Siege Trooper - effective against single targets, has big gun.
-Elite Sniper - very precise beam rifle. Like sniper rubbish at close range.
-Myydrian Mercenary* - mercenary surh. Has hunting rifle, incinerator, nades and what looks like a kitchen knife,
-Clone Commander (1) - All rounder/support unit. Similar to a trooper.
-Clone Commander (2) - All rounder/support unit. Similar to a trooper.
-Clone Tactician - more or less useless in combat, has mobile CPs and buffs to help turn the battle in your favour. Oh...and a standard pistol.

Info on Heroes:

Republic have seven jedi, CIS have three sith/dark jedi, Grievous and three gunners*

Interesting Fact:
No. of units in Last Days Era = 37 units + 14 heroes = 51
Taking clone legions into account (ie units that differ in appearance only).....

*Although one of the gunners is basically useless in combat...really it's hard to fight two clones with it....but that's not the point. ;)

Interesting. Now, why does the Myydrian Mercenary need a knife? I believe knives are always useful in some way in every game, but he got that incinerator for a close range weapon, what is the catch?

Probably not. I suspect that that will be balanced out by other things.

The side setting seems to be able make an excellent battle to me. Good luck on finishing it off!

@Nihilo: Blades do not need reloading. Nah kidding reasons are (a) to fit in with his theme (soldier of fortune from impoverished industrial world) and (b) because the incinerator has very limited ammo.

Now that i'm done recovering from surgery (had my wisdom teeth removed) I've made 2 new maps over the past 2 days these are by no means final maps and are for Sky because his ZE is not working as of now they are just named DS1 and DS2 so names would be appreciated take a look and tell me what you think (the lighting is off on the ruins one I have to make the objects darker of the lighting lighter not sure which one just yet)

Owch, wisdom teeth. I know people who've had 8 removed at age 12.
On-topic: Both look epic. Really. Ideas for the names:
Dantooine: Outpost on the fields-y one.
Vendaxa: Sith Temple on the jungly one. Althoug then you'd need acklays.

Very impressive (in 2 freakin' days). Assuming you haven't finished texturing for the Plains/Hangar one since theres still some stock geo textures there. Temple looks good (nice to have retextured Rhen Var stuff).

Would rather they weren't canon ones unless one has a really, really strong resemblance to a canon planet or YaNk actualy based it on pics of a canon planet (which I'm guessing he didn't?).
