You shouldn't be able to vote for yourself, I know I won't.

I know last year you could only vote for yourself once.

But last year there were also specified categories of avatars.

This year you really don't have a reason to vote for yourself. Besides the fact that it takes all the fun out of it.

Anyways, I voted.

The reason I have no problem with you voting for yourself is precisely because there's only one "category." Even if everybody voted for him- or herself, the second-place votes, which are presumably casted for the next-best, would bump one person above everyone else, because I'm doing a point system to determine the places (i.e. a first-place vote is 4 points, second is three, etc.). If there were more categories or you were only submitting one person's name, I would perhaps rethink my strategy. As it is, it's doubtful that a vote cast for oneself will change anything by much, although I would just encourage everyone to be honest with their votes.

Too true, well said....In my opinion, voting for yourself isn't all that in line with the Christmas Spirit....

I'd like to congratulate everyone that participated; everyone did a fine job. There were many good entries this year, but you all voted to decide the best of them all. Winners are as follows:

Third runner-up through first runner-up will recieve avatar titles (if they wish) indicating their success in the avatar contest for one whole year. The overall winner will recieve an avatar title of his choosing (provided it's not something like "Jedi Admin") which he may also have for one year.
