Hello GTers!

Again a new map by me. It´s a movielike Tantive IV map. I know sounds a bit boring - but test it. You´ll see it´s a very nice map. A inside map was missing in my series :D

Installation:
-Unpack the TIF folder and place it in your programms/lucas arts/game data/addon folder
(Just delete the TIF folder if you don´t want to have the map anymore)

Of all the time I've been here, I've never seen another Tantive IV map except for the stock one. Nice work, as always. Downloading now.

The first map I saw from you was Hoth. I found it on strategie informer because you never uploaded your maps at starwarsbattlefrontfilefront. Since then i searched for more. And I found more. And everytime I played another map from you, I wondered how that guy can make such good maps all the time. All of your maps are great work like this one. I hope we'll se more of you in the future.

I praise the movie-like quality of this map, it was just like being in the Tantive IV in a New Hope, fighting to the death against -or along- the fierce 501st. Thank you for releasing your creation.

Let´s see what´ll be the next map. I thought of improving my old maps a little although I´ve already released finals... - but I don´t want to appoint me yet.

First of all: thanks for the big feedback!
Point A) "unnatural" passages: Your rigth, there are some corridor parts who don´t really fit the straight style of space ship interiors. This is because there aren´t really much corridor models and at some parts of the map I couldn´t stick them together propperly so I had to use these escape-pod-tunnels as alternatives...

Point B) blaster differences: Those differences are little. The blaster of leia shoots quicker than the rifle and is more accurate but has less ammo.

Point C) quick death: I know it´s hard to survive and kill enemys in the narrow corridors but if you unlock the better units it´s easier. The stormtrooper commander can take more than one shot and has backta packs, leia and raymus antilles can take more damage than normal troops and vader can take much damage and heels himself automatically with force heal.

Totally off-topic: he did use the Force quite often to attempt to heal his lungs during his time in medidation chambers, he wanted to heal as many parts of his body as possible in order to free himself of his tormented life in that armor...

well it didnt work very well, anyway back on topic this map is good not sure if it will stay in my addon folder but I it was still cool

i really like it.it felt like the movie.but i feel these should be changed:

Number of units,theres an afull lot of units..

heros:i dont really like leia and vader as unlockable units..why not use them as normal heros..? and vader is kinda overpowered with all of those force powers.
name on instant action:the name is kinda messeed up,it only says Tantive IV: (to change that open locolization tool and find the map name)

Very good map indeed.
There are a couple of collision problems, nothing major though. But was able to get out of the map with Vader doing the Vader float thing.
Also a bit of AI pooling trying to shoot through walls. There may be a lua setting you can do to can't remember off the top of my head. Could also experiment with an AIVis region for the whole map but not sure ho well that would work.

But it was very fun to play lots of action which is good.

I don´t like heroes with a hero-bar because they die very fast. Unlockable heroes can be used more tactically, you don´t have to worry if you don´t kill an enemy per second that your gonna die. I can´t change that you can only read "Tantive IV:" in the bf2 menu, the name´s just too long. On the loading screen is the full name: Tantive IV: Interception.

Yes I know these collision problems... If you don´t put the Tantive IV corridors togehter like in the shipped map, some of them have these problems...
I tried to get the AI away from the walls with barriers (which I placed around almost every corridor) but some points are free from them and the AI just want to go to the next cp or enemy although there´s no planning... I also added this to my Lua: AISnipeSuitabilityDist(30) but that hasn´t changed anything, I think.

Awesome map! This is the first i played by you and now I feel compelled to download your other maps! One of my fav maps EVER! :thumbs:

I, unlike Nihillo, found that i died more from my grenades(almost always it was the frag, awesome grenade, btw) blowing up in my face rather than getting shot.

Although, the corridors wasn't the best, like said before,
they arent that bad. This is your best map ever. In other maps, your
vehicles are too overpowered, although some like that.
In this map the units are less overpowering. Although it still is 1 or 2 shot KO.
