Aww, no TIE bombers? :P

If you did want air support, I think that TIE Bombers would be really cool to have like archer01 (theodramis) managed in Yavin: Arroyo Pass. AI only and everything, just flying around and providing the occasional 'orbital' laser strike.

It's a really nice effect.

No flyers except from some air traffic

Will the air traffic just be part of the sky file? Or will they actually be flying around? I reckon that them flying around would be cooler, but the effect would be ruined when they crash into a building ;).

I hope it will be possible to have some takeoffs and landings :)

You could create a local team that is dedicated to flying vehicle around the city, that way they could be shot down as well.

Yah Im just a bit unpatient. Just looks so cool,and I know how great your maps aways are.If I can recall b4 this game came out I aways thought it would be cool to be there as its my 2nd favorite place in Star Wars.Next this game came out and I thought Mos Eisly was awsome,and now since you made this,im really anxious!(yes im lame lol)

You can simply put

PilotType = "self"

in your odfs, and the ships will fly on their own

Off-topic: You know in Rouge Squardon, there was a mission where Luke and his team had to inspect that Mos Eisley was fine before Probe Droids randomly invaded the planet. When you destory all of them, there were 6 TIE Bombers that spawned and attempted to destory the town.

Rends I forgot. Did you want to make this map based on EU or the Episode 4 timline??

If it was Episode 4, then there wouldn't any TIEs at all....

Yeah, I've got that game. "Rouge Squadron "3D"" for PC. I'm pretty sure it was the only PC Rouge Squadron game ever released. Dangit, too, because that was and still is a fun game.

Gosh, that Mos Eisley was small. :P

Gosh, Rogue Squadron's ship were so slow. But this game had very good-looking cockpits, presumably the best ever seen.
Mhh, there was already a conflict going on before ep.4. I think that rends' map could easily be "what-happend-if" scenario, showing what had happend if the rebels had attacked again - or something like that...

It will be based on EpisodeIV but with a what if.

This is the story about what could have happened:

The Rebels got the Imp faked Transmission about malfunction from the TantiveIV. but they they are unsure if it´s true. So they send an Investigation team to Mos Eisley arriving the City with the Transport shown in Screenshot1 in first post.
But the Imperials uncovered them after a short time so it comes to a clash between Rebels and Imperials just the time the Deathstar destroyed Alderaan.
Sounds possible or?

Teancum , i will make the air traffic either animated in Zeroeditor or the way you suggested. Let´s see what works better.

Wow just saw your screenshots then and your speeders, this map is going to be good.
I play star wars galaxies and just outside mos elisly (about 200meters) is this little tusken outpost place. Thing u could put that in?
Also have u read insidethe worlds of star wars? That gives a brillient map of mos elisly. I can post the map on here if u want.

I already got some screenshots from OGEB but if you can please post images here. I dunno if it´s from the same book.

Well, the Rebels send a undercover team so i´m pretty sure they won´t paint Rebel marks on that ship ;)
