...Not that I'd EVER consider doing something ILLEGAL like that or anything... Nahhhh...

Even though I AM broke and CAN'T afford it... nahhh.

Actually I won't, because it IS illegal and all... but it is tempting...

Haha, that's funny, cuz at my school there's a kid who has been arrested by the FBI for piracy and all he really ever does is pirate, and he owns Minecraft legally.
[On-topic]I love map editors. I managed to move my character farther away and now I can play on my main save again.
EDIT: Darn, it was still buggy when I went back to my spawnbase to retrieve my stuff I had put in chests. It's not worth keeping that world if it's gonna be that buggy, so I had to delete it. I started a new world and got a snow world though, so that's exciting. Also epic mod I found: Image
It's called Sign Tags. You type in a predefined tag and it can turn a sign into a clock, thermometer, etc. I love it.
EDIT2: Okay, I just found something actually useful that everyone with this game should look into. It's a mod called Optiminer (Click!) that makes Minecraft run significantly faster. I can actually play on Fancy with my render distance set to far with a similar framerate to what I had on fancy with the render distance set to normal.

It took me a while before I actually saw the creepers in the windows. I'd pee my pants if they were that close. Doesn't help that my house is made of sand and wood.

If you guys are looking for something to make the game a little scarier, I suggest trying out Mo' Creatures mod. It adds several new creatures to the Minecraft world including:
Hidden/Spoiler:
Horse
Ogre
FireOgre
CaveOgre
Boar
Bear
Duck
LionK
Wolf
PolarBear
Wraith
FlameWraith
Bunny
Bird
Fox
Werewolf
Each creature has new sounds, textures etc. When I see the sun go down now, I don't continue what I am doing. Instead, I run as fast as I can to my house.

Definitely recommend it.

Lucky? I gave my friend my savefile, and he found 39 diamond a tiny way off from my mineshaft. That's lucky.

Yeah I saw this and got pretty excited, then I tried to install it using the TFC Mod Manager, and any world I try to open crashes. Did you install it another way?

I just injected the Mod Manager, AudioMod and the actual Creature mod into both my minecraft.jar file and my minecraft-1.2_02 file.

lucky.

yes.

that part had 4 diamonds in it. 39 is WAY more then 4, but, hey, i just made this map two weeks ago, and this is the first big find. Plus i forund that odd new stone thing used for dyes.

I bought it a couple days ago. I have a gigantic wooden tower with a farm on top of the observatory and a small outpost near a neverending forest fire I started on a rather moronic whim.

It's a good idea, and the game's moddable.

The guy who made this mod released an easy to install TFC Mod Manager version which can be found on the same page. I just downloaded the TFC File and installed it with the Mod Manager, it didn't work straight away but after deleting minecraft1.2_02.jar and keeping the original minecraft.jar it worked fine. I'm assuming you already know how to load mods with the manager so hopefully this helps Thire.

I found six of those yesterday, but I have no idea what to do with them other than make blue dye. Or is that actually it?
