Maybe a fix to bad AI flyers?

Fly/Danger Regions
Name Prefix: danger
Parameters: none
Usage: Use any type.
Results: Flyer AI will avoid these regions.
Questions to: Greg Walker.
maybe this will be a fix or help the AI flyers?

the big question is now how the AI will 'avoid it':
will they fly and when they SUDDENLY hit the region it will change direction asap?
or will it avoid the area from distance? :o

I hope it does. In the Geonosis: Spire map in SWBFI, the AI kept flying into the spire, and they still do in SWBFII.

Is "kept" even a word? :P I'm not sure... :P

This would be great if it works! I thought flyer splines were supposed to guide AI though?

Paths are more like "Guidelines" for the ai. Why else do we need to make barriers for infantry when we already have planning hubs?

err.... did you read the title of the thread.. were talking about flyers.... not infantry.. :?

flyer splines are to planning hubs as fly/danger regions are to barriers.
