St. Patrick's Lake

Post by obiboba3po »

Well, here it is, as promised, a few hours early (at least here in Jersey it is)
Description:
In st. patrick's lake, everyone is always celebrating st patty's day! (even the jawas). 2 opposing sides (either the clover troopers vs. the lucky droids(some are greedy too) or the lucky rebels vs. the lucky stormies) will fight it out around a shamrock shaped lake. However, theres no one way to play! Battle it out with jet skis on the water against the AI, or ram into other people with Fragme!'s ford explorer and assorted camrys! wether you lay clover mines that fling you 1000 feet, or use shooting stars that shake the screen, its always chaotic and holiday themed :) Use the Greenie (jet trooper) flamethrower that surrounds enemies in a massive swarm of clovers. Use a pot autoturret or gold pot grenades! make your own rainbow with the jet troopers rainbow launcher! whichever way you want, nobody will ever mind in the lake if you "luckify" them as they just instantly respawn and shoot at you again :)
Now, hunt mode is really something fun. battle it out as the leprechauns against the jawas, or the jawas against the leprechauns :) an exclusive part of the map is made just for this fun little mode.
Hope you like this map, it was a fun one to make. and of course, i couldn't have done it without the behind-the-scenes help from my little leprechauns (or jawas). Commander fett and fragme! especially deserve alot of thanks!
Credits
-Fragme! Cars, houses, tons of modeling help, and being a good guy when i bug him for answers (and sometimes cookies)
-Commander_fett bionic jawas, some help. thanks man :)
-squipple-his objects
-caleb-some jinglin objects
AND of course GT, best forums there is. period.

clone engineer has floating weapon icon
really need better barriers
increase speed of sniper's long range clover launcher
speeder bike still localized as BARC speeder
St. Patricks's lightsaber still localized as yoda's
force_clovers unlocalized
terrain in some spots, especialy mountains, needs blending

not sure if it's fixable, but after a while, the effects start disapearing
is the clover flamethrower suposed to be localized to something other than repflame, also cisflame?

So you've been to Ireland? I mean, then I understand the normal water. But if you haven't, well then, how do YOU know that the water isn't green?

Just fix it for the next version, umkay? I hope you all know I'm jk... But it actually is pretty realistic for water to be green.

My friend is in Ireland right now, celebrating, and I sent him these pics. He's super Irish (his family moved to Ireland when bush got second term) and he said this looked pretty good!

I think so too.
