Started with cliche'd "Oh, oh, oh, oh." Drums were a disappointment of repetition and no originality, as was the guitar. Not a big fan of rap, so verses weren't appealing. Chorus was predictable and rather repetitive, and not in a catchy way. There wasn't any power behind it.
Also, not hard rock.
Or dubstep.
Hidden/Spoiler:
It's not you, it's me. I'm not a fan of pop. Specifically good-looking Disney actress pop, because really they're just handing those girls a microphone and seeing if they can sing decently, which I'm assuming is not the case with Ms. Gomez, as there was a maximum range of about 10 notes, not including the rap section, which is just talking.[hide]
Hey dude, besides its her first song that she's ever recorded. Give her some credit. Her singing ability has improved with age, not mention her beauty as well but that's getting off topic.
I'm not saying it's entirely her fault, it's the fault of Disney's recording studio. They hire mediocre song writers and then ask their random actors if they want a chance at singing, regardless of talent, for the sake of money and popularity. But she still isn't cut out to be a singer. I mean, I can sing along to a few songs, I have a decent vocal range, but that doesn't mean I belong in a recording studio.
Also, it's still really creepy that you continue to drool all over your computer at pictures and music videos of teenage girls that are the stars of family-oriented TV shows.
Fun fact:
Did anyone else know that Jimi Hendrix created Minecraft?
