It is already flyable, but if you want to be able to spawn in that hanger, it won't be flyable, because if you fly the Acc away, spawn nodes an cp and the like stay where they have been placed.

You can spawn at an AT-AT, why not in the hangar of an acclamator?
I think AT-ATs have a small spawn area, why not give a small spawn area to the acclamator where you can only spawn in the hangar?
Or why is this impossible?

There are two types of shields, droideka, and fambaa. Fambaas are those creatures in ep1 with the gungans, with the big shield generater on their back. Look at the stock BF1 Assets to see what I am talking about.

Could someone upload the map as a normal zip and not as a exe?
I don't trust the the exe file.

Probably most of GT can assure you there's nothing malevolent about it. :?

Anyways please.
I tried to get the map with an virtual operating system, but it didn't work.
I'm just cautiously.

Regular .zip files can not be ultra compressed, so the file is 3x larger to download. I suggest you just suck it up and just download the .exe
I promosie you GT never deals with any bad files

It doesn't have to be a .zip file.
It could be .7zip, .ar, .cbz, .jar, .tar, .tar.7z, .tar.bz2, .tar.gz, .tar.lzma, .tar.xz or .dat.
But I still don't trust the exe file, I would rather install the map manually.
Can yo choose at the installer where to install the map?
Or is it always c:\Program Files\Lucasarts\Gamedata\addon,
because I've bought the game via steam and my addon folder is under
c:\Program files\steam\steamapps\common\starwarsbattlefrontii\gamedata\addon.

It wouldn't be very difficult to reupload a normal archive who is not an exe.
I still hope that someone could do that for me.
And GT could deal with bad files, but nobody knows that, because you can't find a virus that isn't
send to the company who made your antivirus security.
Nearly everything is possible.

Okay, time to say something.

You can trust the exe, I compiled it myself, my PC is virus-free and it only contains the map.
And of course you can change the install location in the installer itself.

If you really can't trust me or my exe, I can reupload a zip file for you, but it makes me really think something about you...

I did get a virus from SWBF files once, but I'm pretty sure it was because of some random, invasive ad. You can trust the exe files hosted there, though, that site is not run by monkeys, we have the trustworthy staff of GT handling all uploads and reviewing all materials submitted.

I haven't played Landing At Point Rain yet, it has been sitting on my desktop since release, but I'll probably get to it today.

I've tried to get the map by starting the .exe in a virtual operating system (the emulator wine,http://www.winehq.org/) , it worked with every other .exe map (z.B. Boras II Stunt Course) , but with this one it didn't work.
I won't trust the .exe file,
because the virtual system who worked for all other .exe maps didn't work.
So think I'll wait until someone uploads the map again.

i dont see what the big deal is, exe is just a super compressed folder (like zip) that just extracts itself. if anything youde have more of a chance of getting a virus from a zip, because if the exe had one, it would probobly not function.

Ok, time for some feedback.

The good:
-I really like the visuals, the thing with the LAATs flying overhead was neat.
-The geonosians on the CIS side feel somewhat consistent.
-Even though the map is quite large, it seems that you are always under attack, no matter what side you are on, battles are plentiful and the CPs are well distributed, so as long you spawn on the front line CPs there's very little walking involved.

What could be improved (a.k.a. "The Bad"):
-It might be just me, but the B-1 Droids have abnormally huge heads and necks, there's also an issue with their right leg, it seems to be disjointed.
-The Droidekas are seriously insane. They are so fast that they can get badly damaged by colliding with things. They also lack an overheat limitation, so anyone who is not taking cover when confronted with a Droideka is immediately shredded to pieces by a preposterous amount of blaster bolts. Yes Droidekas are supposed to be highly mobile squad support platforms, but this is overkill. :P
-The Clones can't consistently gain territory, they are always pushed back and pinned down at the drop point. Maybe they got owned by the insanely fast and powerful Droidekas.
