Wow. Food, you're actually the first person to inquire about LESS presents EVER in my lifetime. Actually, it seems that I tend to follow this pattern with birthdays:
Leap: 2x as many as someone would usually get:
Year after leap: .5x as many on bday, normal on christmas
2 years after leap: .5x as many on bday, .5x on christmas
Year before next leap: normal on bday, .5x on christmas

Well, it turns out my comp can only hold 2 chips of RAM, which it already has installed
but the graphics card installed flawlessly!

It really depends on the year. This year I did okay and came out with a new mouse, a $30 gift card, a new PC game and a great discount on a car. It usually does end up blending into Christmas though.
