Mine is just a bunch of shipped weapon texture bits copyied and pasted onto a new .tga
One really nice one was all_weap_engineer_rifle.tga, or something like that.
Its not a weapon that was used in the final version, and I don't remember seeing it in any mod.

Coming to a Hud near you.
The red part is the transparent Alpha Channel which will be clear ingame. Im thinking of either adding this to the 1st person Clone Trooper arms, or replacing the Player 1 Hud. Each has its own problems to overcome.
This is for a RC map I started recently.
The texture still needs alot of work, but 99% is done entirely by hand with Paint tools in GIMP.

Nice to see that someone else picked up on the RC mod

That's real nice VF, I was planning on making one of those ages ago, but I had no idea how to make transparent visors, or even how to make it a first person thing. Only one problem though; will you have to make the arms as well? Of course, you could always import the clone trooper's arms like you suggested, so it wouldn't be a big problem.
Nice start on the texture, too. I'm looking forward to seeing your RC mod, since Vyse never finished his.

I mostly plan to attach it to the 1st Person arms. That way it only appears in 1st and only on the RCs. I just need to find out the skeleton layout of the arms, seeing as Fred never gave us that.
The Hud Replacement has the bonus of working health and shield meters (I can easily adjust things for it to work), but the cost of it being every where in 1st, 3rd and all units.
I don't want to make it a 1st view weapon, because I'll face the same 1st animation probs Vyse had. Basically no guns in 1st person. He was the inspiration to make this, though, cause I saw that Screenshot, and thought, that would be cool to do.
OffTopic: The Map will be Fest:Phirk Refinery. This is from the beginning of Triple Zero. They never gave details of the battle, so I decided to do my own interpretation. I'll start the WIP topic in about week when I have more progress (hehe only the terrain is done so far).

No, it's not a real weapon, but it's sort-of based off the MR-C as it was depicted in GRAW. Bullpup configuratio, fires caseless
rounds, hence no bolt, only an ejection port.
reminds me of the MR-C/ LW
as seen here
http://www.ghostrecon.com/uk/ghostrecon ... upport.php
its a mix between MR-C/ LW and the CRYE MR-C, very nice!

Its okay, looks like the cartoon. But (if you intend on useing it) you should round it out more and add some more techy stuff on it sense in real star wars (not cartoon) it wouldn't be so simple looking.

Yea, bevel alone would make it a bit more detailed.

Some of you may remember this from an earlier post. It is the ATR6 again with a slight make over. Just fancying up models while I try to visualize my next make in my head. But enough of that. The ATR now has a bottom, was flat before and never looked right plus I have reworked the wings and doors.
