Invisible Weapon [Solved]
Hello,
I've recently tried to add the republic clone commander's chaingun to the imperial officer's arsenal, and in turn I get an imperial officer holding an invisible chaingun that is kind of defective in the way it fires. My question is how do I make the chaingun visible? Does anyone have any thoughts as to what I did wrong? Thanks.

Re: Invisible Weapon
Did you add the model and texture to the imperial (imp) msh folder?

Re: Invisible Weapon
also add the chaingun odf files: the weapon and two ordnance files. Just change the weapon name referenced in the officer's odf

Re: Invisible Weapon
I did all of that, and was able to get it in game before, now my only issue is the sound- it makes no sound when firing.

Re: Invisible Weapon
thats because it is a weapon from the clone wars era, the sounds are not loaded in the gcw era. look in the everything you need thread to fix it.

Re: Invisible Weapon
Ok- thanks for your help, I appreciate it. I have one last, quick question by the way. I've been trying to make it so when a hero blocks, it doesn't take stamina. I was able to accomplish that for all heroes except Anakin, since he doesn't have a COMBO file. Is it possible to fix that?

Re: Invisible Weapon
all lightsabers use a combo file. look in anakin's lightaber odf. it will tell you the name of the combo file.

Re: Invisible Weapon
What do you mean Anakin doesn't have a COMBO file? He does, it just is the same as Obi Wan's. In rep_weap_lightsaber_anakin.odf, there is a line that tells you what combo is being used: ComboAnimationBank = "human_sabre melee rep_hero_ep3obiwan"

Re: Invisible Weapon
Oh, thanks, I guess I was negligent and didn't see that. Thanks though.
