Jump out of flying ships!

hi,

i want to jump out of flying ships, i think it was possible in swbf1.

I don't know how to do it.

No, he's trying to find out what needs to be modded to jump ship. I'd be interested to see what people found out too.

Possibly, but not for 100% certain. If you look in SWBF2 odfs there's stuff like TimeRequiredToEject. But, since we can't actually eject Pinguin might be right. Odds are they pulled it so that people didn't accidentally eject in space and find out there's gravity :runaway:

I'm fairly certain thats for hacking (ie: an engineer kicking someone out of a vehicle).

The fact that you can hack someone out of a flying vehicle shows that you can get out of a vehicle while its flying, so at least we know the game engine can do it. However, getting yourself out...

Yeah, I'd try either giving the flyer a fusion cutter that is modded to hack itself, or something involving

OnCharacterDispensePowerUp

and ExitVehicle/.

So basically the flyer would have a dummy power-up weapon and when that power-up was used(OnCharacterDispensePowerUp) it would execute ExitVehicle.
I don't know why you want to jump out. But I guess it could be fun.... :P

certainly you know the paratooper. but what is a paratrooper which can not jump out of flyers ^^.

You could fly a gunship over an enemy command post and have all your teammates jump out and capture it. Of course, that'd require coordination amoungst your team, which really doesn't happen much in Battlefront, since everybody is usually out for their own statistical glory.
