Weapons:
DC-19 Commando Rifle
Image
The DC-19 Commando Rifle is a rifle which needs time to warm up, but will shoot extreme strong laserbolts in a short amount of time. The spread is very big when moving, but when standing still, the weapon can be very accurate.

DC-13x Sniper Rifle
Image
The DC-13x Sniper Rifle uses the same handle as all DC-13 variants, but has a very accurate scope which can zoom over a long range. The weapon is very light, so it will be easy to handle this deadly sniper rifle.

DC-14 Portable Rocket Launcher
Image
The DC-14 Portable Rocket Launcher is a rocket launcher which should only be carried by elite. It has the firepower of an upgraded PLX, and can be carried as a normal rifle. The big, circular magazine makes it possible to shoot several times before needing to replace it.

DC-13 TASER Pistol
Image
The DC-13 TASER Pistol is a very special projectile launcher which is very difficult to make. The pistol can only be found among the best Clone Commando's. It shoots a bullet which is deadly already, but when it makes contact it will release a deadly lightning cloud which will do direct damage to the enemy.

DC-15n Commando Pistol
Image
This variant on the DC15s Blaster Pistol is designed especially for Commando's which need a light, but strong weapon. The weapon has a cooling system, which makes it possible to fire very fast, loads of time before overheating. The laserbolts coming out of this weapon are accurate and powerful.

F-187 fusioncutter
Image
The F-187 fusioncutter is the most common Fusioncutter found among Republic engineers. It is a great tool which can be used to repair things and slice into enemy's vehicles.

ZERO Squad

-by MandeRek

This is something special.. BF0 will have a non-canon squad, the ZERO Squad, which will be playable through the mode called 'Weapon Conquest'. This mod will have 1 objective all the time, but different everytime, and only 5 units will perform it.. The squad... and.. the hero. Who willl be the hero? For now, a secret. This post will be updated, since the first models are done. So, in short: there's a very small campaign going one in BF0 ;)

It will all become clear when the first screens are there but believe me: it's hell of fun to be a special commando, together with 4 AI, against 30 weak B1's! :D (this is one of the scripts)
Locations:
Image

Tantive IV; BF0
Objectives:
- Go to the command room
- Kill 10 Alderaan Guards
(Darth Vader unlocked)
- Capture CP
- Eliminate Senator Bail Prestor Organa

Image

Saleucami; Caldera
Objectives:
- Destroy Snailtank
- Capture CP
- Destroy 4 Super Battledroid Commanders
(Aayla Secura unlocked)
- Destroy 2 AATs
- Go to AT-AP to escape

Image

Geonosis; Arena
Objectives:
- Kill 7 Geonosians
- Go to west entrance
- Eliminate 3 Droidekas
- Go to south entrance
- Eliminate Dark Acolyte Artel Darc

Wow! Sounds great! I can't help but wonder if a squad unit or the hero unit is named after a BF0 member.

...

Does anybody else find it sort of suspicious that this idea came out a few days after I released this: http://starwarsbattlefront.filefront.co ... 4x#1722999 on Filefront...

The concept of this is almost EXACTLY like Theta Squad...

Just saying..

No one finds it suspicious because your idea wasn't original in the first place, and very few things are.

Of course, I'm not accusing anybody of idea stealing, and I know it's not my own idea, I'm just pointing out the sort of irony.

Bwah? Why would you be suspicious if you weren't accusing him of idea stealing?
What else is there to be suspicious about?

On another note, I'm looking forward to this, I've always enjoyed campaign missions.

This is sorta like a campaign mode I was working for on a map, with your uber commandos (or an ARC, or something) facing a bunch of relatively weak but greatly numbered team of AI.

MandeRek, those models are freakin awesome! They all look amazing. At first I was just expecting regular-old Republic Commandos and then you make all these amazing custom models. Nice work!
