That blue/purple explosion effect can also be found in the bf2 modtools I think, the haywiredetonator the gungans have use it. Unless I'm wrong. Which is not unlikely. Hehe.

Edit to Pereza0: Sorry, I'll stop flying around the room this instant.

I've got the 'old style' heroes working perfectly, but I'm going to change the AIHeroes script done by Archer01 (THANKS!) so that you can load any SWBF2 hero you want and it makes them like SWBF1 hereos.

I'm all for Classic Conquest on all of the maps. I'm a bit confused about what you mean by adding additional heroes. Does this mean that I might see, say, Darth Maul on Naboo: Plains? I suppose that there are some maps that I wouldn't mind seeing other heroes, but I think that the four oldies would probably be best for other maps.

I completely agree.

Heroes:

That being said -- whether the old heroes are used on every map, even the non-SWBF1 maps is up to you.

whoa, is that even possible , be pretty cool if there was an option on instant action that lets you choose the heroes on your maps, then i wouldn't have to put up with the same old han solo, boba, and obi, darth maul.

If I were you I'd ask Archer01, he has done a really cool Hero Script

That's not exactly what I mean. I know how to code in lua well enough. It's that you have to create new menus, store lots of arrays and other junk that even Archer01 and [RDH]Zerted will tell you it's not even close to worth it.

The new fake console menu system I'm working should be able to handle it, but only in SP. I don't have a clue what would happen in MP if the host loaded a .lvl file others didn't have while ingame (well I do have a clue, I think the all the clients would crash and the server would get a lag spike).

What Teancum says is true, its not worth it to add a button/dropdown list in the instant action menu. I'm adding things in the pause menu, which is completely different.
