lol. Well. Hopefully they'll be in everyone's hands.
Anyways, I wonder what Big Cookie's doing. :S Haven't heard from him in awhile. I might have to login on Xfire or something.

Re: Endor: Death Watch Bunker Assault
Good idea, and it looks great! I had actually mused a bit about some DeathWatch units for a "Galidraan: Mandalorians' Last Stand" map I was planning a while ago. One thing I had considered was making the Mandalorians helmets more "Death Watch" looking (http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/File:Deathwatch.JPG). Of course I was going from "Open Seasons", rather than SWG where they looked just like the True Mandalorians.
And for what it's worth, I thought the mist was fine, kindof cool actually. *shrug*
My only thought is, the story seems a bit jumbled from what I've seen on this thread. Are the Imp side units supposed to be Imperials who have gone rogue, been convinced to join the Jedi? Are you drawing from something in a book or game somewhere, or is the story your own creation?
It seems like simpler might be better, overall, especially if there's no source material being drawn from -- having a whole group of Imperials allied with a Jedi Master definitely seems odd, and a Secret Sith would make more immediate sense. Even something like an Emperor's Hand or a Shadow Guard, with some force abilities but not really being a full-out Jedi or Sith, would seem more fitting. Just my opinion, of course. =)
Anyway, it looks good, I'm anticipating its release!

Revan, if you want the Death Watch helmet, DarthD.U.C.K. made it for the MCW project a while back.

You're thinking of the earlier Death Watch armor.DarthRogueKnight wrote:Revan, if you want the Death Watch helmet, DarthD.U.C.K. made it for the MCW project a while back.

Re: Endor: Death Watch Bunker Assault
Yeah, I'm aware that the Death Watch in SWG just look like different-colored True Mandalorians -- as I posted:
I know there's like 30 or 40 years between the Death Watch on Galidraan and the Death Watch from the Endor Bunker, but it seems to me that if they'd managed to stay together that long then they'd probably have maintained a certain visual trademark identity. And from what I know, changes in armor are a pretty big deal for Mandalorians.
*shrug* I guess it's really down to preference, though. =)
I guess my thought is, do the Death Watch in SWG look like True Mandalorians because the Death Watch for some reason abandoned their distinctive armor and helmets and began using the same style as their hated enemies? Or because the SWG game designers had a model for the True Mandalorian style armor and helmets, and just used that instead of designing something new?JackTHorn wrote:I had actually mused a bit about some DeathWatch units for a "Galidraan: Mandalorians' Last Stand" map I was planning a while ago. This map looks very interesting how long until a potential beta release?

I've no clue at this point. Life stuff has got me distracted. Sorry. AQT...you willing to take this back over? I just have not been able to get back to doing it.

Come on, RSL, at least release one map before you go away.
Yeah, I guess I'll have to continue the work on the map then, but I'm kind of busy myself with school-related work and all (as soon as I stop procrastinating).

Re: Endor: Death Watch Bunker Assault
Sorry. D: lol. I'll PM the update to the camo droid soon, though. Didn't mean to like...dump this on ya or something. I've just been extremely busy and/or distracted from modding due to either schedule or.... well, actually that word alone describes everything. lol
Well, see ya peeps, regarding this map. Sorry that I once again failed to provide a map due to life stuff.

I still have some reskinned Mustafar corridors and some reskinned Polis Massa corridors on my hard drive. ( I dont had much free time, because I was busy with school too )
I made them for the Death Watch Bunker.
Who needs these skins now?

Re: Endor: Death Watch Bunker Assault
i once tried to simulate that mkiii armor by reskinning a jango skin. it is kind of okay but ingame you will always see that it is not that crusader mkiii armor. i never finished it so it lacks glance and detail but if you can make use of it...

Re: Endor: Death Watch Bunker Assault
I'll try my hand at getting the map portion of it done. I can't promise anything guys...but I can still at least try with what time I recently freed myself up with (my parents can just find someone else to help them if they're that desperate. Besides, they've never really "needed" me, which has been wasting my time). I don't know what I was saying yesterday. I feel quite rather stupid actually (blood sugars were out of whack, making me say stupid things. Diabetes can do that.) I will try and finish this map 'map' wise and if you want, AQT, you can polish it up perhaps?B.I.G_Cookie wrote:I still have some reskinned Mustafar corridors and some reskinned Polis Massa corridors on my hard drive. I've come this far with the map. No sense in going back on my word. I have a map I need to finish. Why should I give up? (lol. I'm not going to do every single corridor, but I'll do what I can.) Anyone want me to continue it?
(Besides, it's the summer. Why would I have that much to do anyways? And plus, I'm graduated. I do what I want. Lol)
I know I seem like I can't make up my mind. Sorry if it deceives anyone. I'm just having trouble thinking to myself. This is one of my commitments I need to stick to and I need to get it done. I promised a cool map. I'll give a cool map!

Re: Endor: Death Watch Bunker Assault
BIG Cookie. You can continue to send it to me.
As for this map. I am now going to be working on it non-stop this week. I have MANY things I need to throw into it.
Sorry for the confusion, peeps. I've been known for that. lol
Going into ZE (I actually have done a few rooms and corridors since the first few pictures. I'll see if I can get a few more cool pics.

Re: Endor: Death Watch Bunker Assault
Thanks. Got lots of problems at the moment.
Was in ZE, I found any floating objects and grounded them. I re-aligned some of the corridors (it's hard to align them when they are assigned to a grid, so I had to turn off 'align to grid'). Thing is. A lot of the bushes and logs outside were not grounded! Even if I had saved the file! I can fix the gaps for the corridors easy, but it's the stupid bushes and logs that are having minds of their own. >.< Any tips here?
