Yuke, you are correct. DICE is not the main developer for Hardline, Visceral is. And yep, considering how good the Dead Space franchise was, I think SWBF will be just as good if not better if, of course, like you said, that's the path they decide to take..

Off-topic: DICE is NOT to blame for the mistakes made with Battlefield 4. It's almost entirely E.A.'s fault.

Regarding this and the comments on Frostbite 3's performance on last-gen, BF4 has been out long enough now for things to be ironed out. That bodes well for SWBF3 not only for PC and next-gen, but also 360 and PS3.

That was incredible. Spring 2015 can't come soon enough!

A lot of those early in-engine shots looked like CG. This new Star Wars Battlefront is going to be a looker!

So, Hoth and Endor are in for sure. Plus, it's starting to look like they'll be including third-person. Just hope they include a decent single player.

Is there a price estimated by now? I hardly buy games but this one looks to be maybe $30. I'm loving the looks of the environment so far! the units animations look a little iffy, but i'm sure those will be evened out.

As with every other new, AAA, EA-published game these days, there's a 99% chance it will be $60 at launch, and if you're lucky, it *might* fall to perhaps $50 after a year or two of being released.

Heh. I completely understand your "doubts" or whatever one'd call them. I'm mainly excited because holy crap Battlefront in Frostbite. Also because holy crap DICE working on Star Wars sounds.

I'd have to agree with Twilight_Warrior. I want gameplay, and all I saw was a person flying a snowspeeder around and a speeder bike. The snowspeeder looked pretty cool, though.

I'm hyped at the mere fact that a Battlefront sequel exists.

That's one thing I am really excited for, even if the trailer we got was kind of "meh." For anyone who has not played Battlefield 3 or 4: the sound design is seriously the best you'll get in a video game.

So we've yet to see any hint of them including the clone wars as a playable era in the new Battlefront. Would you guys be angry if EA/DICE doesn't include it? I'd be furious....it would be like paying for half a game

Coming from the guy who has spent years working on a TCW mod (as I loved the era), I wouldn't mind if they skipped the Clone Wars era entirely. I've more than gotten my fill of that time in Star Wars lore, I care way more about post RotS Star Wars.
