building visibility problem

There is a problem with the visibility when i play in my map

look at the pics:
-the first pic shows that the ruins aren't visible, but the buildings behind the ruins are visible.
-In the second pic when i zoom in, the ruins are visible and also the buildings behind.
How can i make the ruins more visible (like the buildings behind the ruins)

Got the same problem in my map... There is a CIS Mainship flying over the map....and its without zooming just the middlepart of the ship visible...

(and making it a dome wouldnt be good, because there are spawning fighters in it.)

its either it needs a lowrez model or its the view distance...

I will try to create a lowrez for the ruins

Edit: I cant find out how to add a lowrez tga to my yav2_bldg_big.msh/odf
I tryed to resize the yav2_bldg_wall02.tga (i think this tga is attached to yav2_bldg_big) to 30 x 30 (lowrez format) and save it as yav2_bldg_wall02_lowrez.tga. Munged, play, and it doesn't work in map... Do i need to add something in a script?
