korriban actuly sounds good i was thinking of a big warehouse with imps (N-K nerccois(grevis) as hero with a dual saber thats red)
and the new repulic (luke was my frist choice but mabey mara whould be good as well (to just get away from thes stcok heros) or mabey luke & mara, mara for say 24 ponits and luke as hero)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
or on the ohter hand
the n64 sulisst map would be great
with that big shelded thingy up in the air and like 4-5 sheld gens (hoth kind) on the groundand you have to destroy all 5 so you can jump in a y wing or x wing and blow the floating base up

Coruscant: Platforms (like bespin platforms but coruscanty)
Droid Control Ship: Interior (ep1)
I dont know where it is, I think its alderan, but its the place where Senetor Organa takes Leia at the end of ep3. Maybe that could be done.
maybe Malastar would be good too...

I though people knew how to do objectives... PM me if you're doing a good map with them and get stuck.

What about(clone wars):
The first planet, where Yoda, Shaak-Ti and Tiin competed in,
And the rainy planet right after(maybe the sheild map with the "what an incredibaly smell you've discovered" secion...),
And the map with the "evil Mon Calamari" and "the wicked Count Dooku", aaaaand,
ofcourse Illum!

The Neimodian looks cool. Just thought they are not that tall right? But i think we can set the size in the ODF file.
so anyone has more information (images) about Cato Neimodia? That could be interesting.

Just one question.
From the starwarscom databank:
"Cato Neimoidia is the eldest of the purse worlds. It is also, perhaps, the most exclusive. Only the richest of a very wealthy culture live here, protecting their troves in subterranean vaults guarded by difficult landscapes and seemingly endless battle droids."
But if i look at this screenshots i took from the movie it looks like more an industrial area (with cranes and funnels):
So is this a industrial area? If not what else could it be. If so what are the Naimoidians producing there?

Wow, is the whole city on giant bridges? 0_o Neat idea and looks cool. Not sure how it would play in-game though. Would remind me of a happier styled Mygeto a lot.

They could be skyscrapers at a distance. You'd have to watch ploo kloon's crash carefully. Or it could be an industral area, to provide resources to the residents.

There are lots of bridges... so ofcourse there are some with industrial things
for a map...
Have 1 or 2 (maybe 3) bridges hanging under a mountain...like you see on this pic..
And have a Venator in the air...for the republic
A must have... plo koon as a hero... and his jedi starfighter.. the battlefront 1 jedi starfighter that is...

The scale of those brides loos so big that any maps would be completely contained in the bridge. You could do just that and have the mountain finger things and other bridges as sky objecs so it has a CT feel.
Or you could do a city block that borders on the edge of a bridge so you can look down and see a low-rez bridge below. You can't map an entire bridge at swbf scale from the looks of it, but I could be wrong. Maybe the buildings are just tall and skinny

That's what I was thinking. Maybe if the bridge was done at a 45 degree angle across the map.. It might fit fine at a 90 but BF maps are pretty small.
Changing the map size could be done... but that's risky...

Also, there's performance to keep in mind. And the fact that rendsprobably doesn't want to model 500 buildings along with props etc

lol, ya it sounds simple enough but once you start to creat a ton of buildings not matter how simple in shape it can become very tedious.
I'd go out of my mind!!

and start zapping people with force lighting!! :emp: ...wait I don't have force powers... maybe I'm already out of my mind!!!

Well, they don't need to be that dense, and you can use the same building a bunch of times if you mix it with a few other buildings and rotate them around. Like Mos Eisley does. I'm in the process of Nelvaan: Villiage right now, and I don't think I'll be re-using any of the buildings, but The map isn't going to be super dense, so perfomance shouldn't be an issue.
And, of course, keep em as low poly as possible.
