I have a question about installing 'Episodes from Liberty city expansion'. Last week when I bought GTA IV, I installed it, then my computer needed re-imaging. So now I have my computer back and I didn't install it (i was lazy), I just copied it from my portable hd onto my computer. If I install the expansion will it install properly?
i dont think somebody can give you a definite answer. if games can be patched/upadated/addoned or even played with just the gamefolder depends on the structure. playing works oftenly but patching or addoning probably wont work because automatic installers ususally search in the registry for references to the game and if they cant find it they suppose you havent installed it.

So my answer is delete it then install it from the dvd, ok thanks
Grand Theft Auto: Episodes from Liberty City includes both The Lost and Damned, and The Ballad of Gay Tony together and does not require a copy of the original Grand Theft Auto IV to play.
It has the same map, but its just a new storyline with some new features.

Well, I loved the original GTA IV and to be honest Gay Tony was even better. I havent had the time to play though the Lost and the Damned yet but it looks alright. So yeah, if your a fan of the original GTA IV... Episodes of Liberty City will not disappoint.

Ohk, I'm gonna collect up all these games and have a gaming fest : ) btw- I loved nikos accent and when he swore in game (sounds pretty childish but his accent makes it awesome).

Ehhhh Niko! Wanna play darts? We havent yet played in Liberty City yet!
