How about a space map with a bunch of ships with big interiors and inside each ship is a reactor core and win it gets destroyed the whole ship blows up! when all ships are destroyed a team wins/loses!

It already exist in Space Rakkata Prime that comes with the ConvoPack. But in this map there is no "big interior", so someone should try it!

I have been thinking abouot an Idea... Would it be possible to have a "Force Transform" Skill, that changed you into an Ackley or Rancor or wampa or ewok? What do you think?

Exactlyey, but it would change your weapons as well.

The Ewok, would be like a scout, with stealth, and throw spears, and a melee attack...

The Rancor would be like a tank

The Ackley like a speeder (increasing its Speed)

The wampa like something else...

Well if you wanted to use Lua to do this then you could change properties about a certain unit but is it even possible to pinpoint which unit you shot at?

Like, say you shoot your "force transform" power at some clone, how would you the lua know which guy you shot at so it could change him? It could be where you used the power and then EVERYONE of that class changed to an ewok or a random guy could change (I think) but I don't see how you could possibly make the guy you shot at definitley turn.

Now if you did it in a campaign mode type level, then, you could just place one unit of one class and make "force transform" power a power that does a tiny bit of damage, then when the ONE unit recieves damage the lua makes him change shape. It's doable in a campaign setting but I don't think it's even possible to use in regular Instant action conquest.
I could be wrong...

If that was the intent, it is possible. You can make the 1 unit change. That MAY cause a CTD idk :cpu:

It would be too hard to do, when you use it it kills your guy. Then you are respawned as another unit at the same spot a second later.

My idea for a TFU Kashyyyk map (probably used a lot)
you start out as a single storm commando (ee-3 carbine, pistol, detpack, stealth, sonic detonator, neuro-poison, etc) and a squad of 10 other commandos
the map: kashyyyk beachead

you spawn at a lone AT-AT and have to go down to the beach command post.

-capture it

when you capture it the following will spawn
-soldiers, gunships, at-sts, tanks, speeders. if possible, have several gunships land and dispense soldiers

when those spawn, your side is immediately ambushed by wookiees and rebels on all sides.
-then you have to fight your way out of the ambush, and go and capture all the other cps, and when you capture all the other ones, where enemies are waiting

That idea actually sounds very nice and very possible to do.
There are not that many maps with campaigns that really give a feeling of a big battle.

Using an item dispenser and automatic odf-made barriers to create a strategy map where you direct unit to an objective could be cool :)

Edit - Sorry, I posted in the wrong thread. I should've read before posting. I saw the "mod/map" bit and I forgot about the all-purpose request thread. Sorry. I edited this post to fix that mistake.

Other than my apparent mess up (my bad), here's an idea I'm tossing around: I dunno if this idea was posted, but a health 'grenade' would be cool. I've been having this awesome thought of banking a medkit off of a wall. Haha. I suppose that wouldn't be so hard. It'd look weird unless I could pull it off. I'm pretty sure this idea's been done before. It sounds really simple compared to the awesomeness I've seen.
